Act 1, Scene 1: "Through the Undergrowth" (Main Game Thread)

"There a bit to explore down there, some crevices I can't fit into and the scent of fresh goblin to the south and west... We should gather and be off.... Unless you want to
Come back with me and search the other areas..?"

Garroth will grab the goblin by the throat and lift him up with one hand .. Them grab one of its arms with his other hand and start pulling. "You be a good goblin and I won't rip your arm off and beat you to death with the soggy end, eh?"

[Nocturno]

"Let's give the other scouts a minute. I'm sure they are enjoying not being followed by my armour." he will chuckle at the threat. But will realize who is talking with and clam up.

[ausie]

Garroth regards Nocturno thoughtfully.... "Armour has a purpose and I'm sure it will be a wise choice.... just not when we are trying to be sneaky... now do you suppose this goblin understands Common?"

Garroth pulls on its arms and twists experimentally, to see if the threat of dislocation triggers its memory... "You tell me everything, yes?" He says is common to the goblin...

Garroth picks up the unconscious goblin and tries to revive it, but the creature is out cold. He twists and pulls on its arm, but even the pain isn't enough to wake it yet. The creature's shattered jaw moves unnaturally as the body shifts in the Minotaur's grip. Van continues to search, but finds nothing.

[Sol Mazer]

"Garroth, you find a new pet? Think he is house broken? I wager not considering what I found in their den. Katten is fixing to talk to this bugger... Let's see if we can patch him up to be of use."

Van has zero first aid skill, but he looks the goblin over for obvious bleeding and problems. Anything he could do to improve the littl' bastard's situation?

[ausie]

"Bah! It doesnt want to play..."
Garroth will pour a cup of wine, and then reconsider and pour the wine into his own mouth... then dribble the dregs over the goblin's lips...

[Nocturno]

If he waits more than two minutes Nocturno will sigh and head off in the scouts direction.

"Just don't let it get away."

[ausie]

"Okay.... It's not going anywhere... unless I get bored... "

[Rivi]

elden pokes the goblin with his boot "think i hit it to hard? that jaw wont tell a whole lot of stores"

[ausie]

Garroth hands Elden a cup of Elven wine.. "I'll make it talk... once it wakes up... broken jaw hurts but not as much as someone playing with your broken jaw... I don't speak goblin though...."

(Just to be clear, Garroth has one hand around the Golblin's throat, not tight, just restricting its escape, should it wake and try to do the Usain.)

Garroth pours and downs a wine, dribbling a bit over the unconscious goblin's mouth. The wine dribbles out from its ruined jaw, spilling over the smelly hide armor it wears. Vanidur examines the unfortunate creature, but it is supremely doubtful anyone could do anything for it short of magical healing. Elden looks the goblin over as well. He had smashed rocks before that didn't look as bad after. He began to silently wonder if the creature might never wake at all in its current condition. The large Minotaur places a pair of thick, powerful fingers around the much smaller goblin's throat, his whole hand far too wide to grip it without risking popping its head clean off.

Nocturno leaves them too it and heads off to find the scouts.

Linar leads the way back to the 'room' with the gong.
Katten follows clutching a wounded goblin with its feet dangling 12 inches or so off the floor.
"Found a few more. Anything happen here?"

[Sol Mazer]

"Nine Hells! Are we collecting these things? Do they make great pets?" Van lets out a chuckle. "How many did you kill to get that one? Is it alive?"

Van will give Garroth a look as if to convey "WTF?!" The High Elf will practically stare at the new addition to the collection.

[ausie]

"Yours looks healthier... This one's jaw issoamashed it will need magical healing to talk...."

Garroth lets go of the unconscious goblin... gets up and head back south...

"I'll go and get a couple more so we can compare stories.. come with me only if you are quiet and bring no light..."

Garroth heads back south into the darkness and takes the western fork, looking and sniffing for more goblins.

"Do we want me to feal this creature? I can only do this once per day," asks Linar.

If the answer is negative (or no answer), then Linar shrugs and follows the big bloke unless the pair are called back.
