Re: WotL OOC Thread
Quick question, when Gregeddin notices Darewind, Nora, Biggs & Wedge, does he spot if any of them have seen him? And also, as Biggs & Wedge are walking towards the entrance, can the bard tell whether they are just walking towards the entrance or if they are walking straight for Gregeddin?
Lastly, is it possible to make a reading lips check during Darewind's conversation to figure out what he's saying?

Re: WotL OOC Thread
Good questions. None of the four seem to have noticed Gregeddin yet. Biggs and Wedge are heading for the entrance, not toward Gregeddin himself (unless he is standing directly in their way, that is). Even then, the crowd is so large, it's likely they'll miss him unless they are paying close attention.
I forgot he had lip reading. Yeah, he can roll a check. If he passes, he can understand about 70% of what is said.

Nevertheless good call mgbevan.

Tulbas also might not come. I myself really wants to take part in this giant hunting mission, but Tulbas is very concerned about his uncle. On the other hand, if the cultists will come to him he can't do much and another thing, the fact that Darewind returned to the warehouse and didn't sent people to retrieve Tulbas from the shop indicates either he doesn't know where he is or still occupied with other matters. In any case his uncle still might be safer where he is currently.Darga wrote:I don' think I want ta help 'em wit' what they're doin', anyway...
Re: WotL OOC Thread
That's okay, you aren't required to go fight the giant. The party can split up and do different things. Maybe Tulbas and Darga can stay behind and check out the sewers for the thieves guild or track down the money Darga lost or something else entirely while the others go fight the giant.

Re: WotL OOC Thread
If that is the case, Kendra might not go either. She'll be a little worried that the people within the cult would recognize her as a seeker guard, and then the party's cover within the cult could be easily discovered.
Re: WotL OOC Thread
Well, if Tulbas won't go with the others it will be to stay home with Raetmal.
Re: WotL OOC Thread
It feels like things are kind of wrapping up here. If there's anything you want your character to do tonight, let me know. Otherwise, I'll fast forward to the next morning.
Re: WotL OOC Thread
Before sleeping, can Gregeddin remove his leather armour and attempt to cast mending to un singe that fine black cloak he's been wearing.
In the morning he will re memorise mending and hypnotism. He Also intends to bring 30 steel pieces for zoya and mateo and the great helm for Kendra. Using the backpack yo carry all his stuff is probably advisable and torches may be handy for whatever reason. But the remainder of the money would be stuffed in the mattress so as to not weigh him down excessively.
Bringing some food back tonight and letting his parents know he's off again would probably happen.

Re: WotL OOC Thread
Kendra is going to try and recruit Crystal before going into the sewers. She would also like to talk Tulbas into going with them too, just for the sake of having a mage along with them.
Re: WotL OOC Thread
Tulbas is in real dilemma whether to leave Raetmal or not. In any case he would suggest all to work together. Finish the giant first then deal with the sewers. As mentioned before Tulbas thinks Kendra is a valuable asset to the group and wearing great helm and maybe die her hair, no one would recognize her. The only thing that stops him is he fears Raetmal would be helpless if he is left alone and someone will attempt to break into the house or burn it.
Re: WotL OOC Thread
If Tulbas decides not to go on either quest, he can. Magnus will insist on staying with him to protect him, though. (Magnus will not go on the giant slaying quest unless Tulbas does, as well--same deal with the sewer quest. If Tulbas refuses Magnus' aid, he will not go on any of the quests.)
As far as Kendra and a disguise goes, I don't want to speak for Horizon, but I'm under the impression that fear of being recognized is only one issue. There's also the fact that Kendra and Darga have an objection to aiding the cultists any further. Plus, I don't think they really care much about the giant quest. They seem more invested in getting in good with the thieves' guild.

Re: WotL OOC Thread
Jaded pretty much summed it up.
Re: WotL OOC Thread
Well, Tulbas highest concern is for Raetmal, but staying at the shop may draw Darewind actions there. On the other hand, if he will leave the house and something will happen to Raetmal that his staying in the shop could prevent, he will never forgive himself.
Seeing Darga and Kendra so determined not to come, and knowing if he won't come too to stop the giant so will Magnus, that will critically impact of the group strength. Therefore he will ask Kendra and Darga if they can wait one more day (maybe even less) with the sewers investigation and keep an eye on his uncle in case someone will try to act against him.
If they will refuse Tulbas will stay with Raetmal, but he will ask his friends to spread the rumor he is joining them to stop the giant (they can even say he made himself invisible or altered his appearance). This way he hopes Darewind will be interested to learn the measure of Tulbas power and won't use his 'absence' to later manipulate his followers against Tulbas, presenting him as coward and the one who left them in the time of need.
He will ask Magnus to keep an eye on the house from outside, and will wait few days for the reinforcement Magnus said he called upon. In the meanwhile he will suggest his help and opinion regarding investigating the sewers or planning the attack on the giant. He wants to be part of it but will stay in the HQ.

I hope Raetmal will wake up eventually otherwise maybe it's time to roll up a new character
