CH. 8: Reunion

Val walks into the room and drops her backpack, battle axe, bow and arrows. Taking Aries hand, and returns the hug before saying "Ok, let's go see prissy pants."

"The only other option is to talk to her about it, rather than getting revenge," Jocelyn suggests. "Work out the problem with her."

[Jenara]

"Indeed." with that Arei walks back down the stairs, heading to the common room, hat firmly on her head, her blade worn openly at her side.

"Will you help moderate with this between us?" the young woman asks Jocelyn hopefully.

Red Sirine Inn
The old woman nods to Ouragana in greeting. "Five silver a night," she says.

Meanwhile, Val leaves behind her backpack, bow and axe in the room before stepping downstairs with Areilon.

Entering the common room with a gracefull flourish, Arei starts to turn towards the old woman before standing dead still, a look a surprise and shock crossing her pretty elven features.

"By the Gods, what are the odds?" She manages to say after a few moments. "Of all the inns in all the islands.. how?" Pulling Val into the room she grasps Oura, by the shoulders.

As a first impulse, Ouragana starts to fight to shake Areilon off before she recognises her and sees Cal in the doorway. "Arei, let me live!" she admonishes softly. "Have you and Val come here together?"

[Jenara]

"No, we met here by happy chance!" She says with a grin, reluctantly letting the mage go, "You will never guess who the local Pastor is..." She adds.

[Breila]

Ouragana frowns. "Jocelyn has been sent here?" she asks. "I wonder which powers are behind this..." she muses.

[Jenara]

"Powers, or chance." Arei shrugs, "Either way we are all here. Lets have a drink, and you can tell us of your travels and studies."

[Breila]

"Let me bring my things to my room ,and I'll join you " Ouragana suggests, then turns to Val, extending her hand. "Hello, Val. Nice to see you again, too."

[Jenara]

"You do that." Arei smiles and takes a seat.

"If you would like me to, then I can," Jocelyn says.

[Breila]

Ouragana lays a gold piece on the counter to pay for her room, then waits for the key and her change before going to her room to leave her backpack there.
coming back, she oders a glass of pineapple juice at the bar before sitting with Arei 8and presumably Val).

"I did some studying, and I taught young ones how to navigate" Ouragana tells them. "Nothing much, really. I've been sent here by the Academy headmaster to deliver a message to the Mayor. Which makes me wonder wheter he knew you were here, and thinks you're a suitable group to help me get more experience - and a more open mind."

"That's something I'd like to learn, think it would be useful." Arei suggests, "I stayed aboard the Bullring, seems after the battle with the orcs they needed the help."

"Trade routes, rather boring, but all good experience." she adds

"Thank you, pastor," the young woman says with a small bow, glad to put this all behind her.

Ouragana receives her change, deposits her backpack in Room 2, and then returns downstairs to purchase a juice for two copper.
