got power finally and we are fine, lots of downed trees and one big tree exploded (only thing I can think of as it sure as heck didn't split) about 20 feet from my home but luckily didn't fall in my direction.

Creep. Unscathed in the path of the eye of the storm. Whereas we on the leading edge are without power/heat/TV/gasoline.
I am headed home to resume shivering in the darkness.

I now have heat, lights and internet in my home and fuel in my truck. Exactly that much is right in the world. :)

Glad you're doing a little better, can't imagine what life must have been like.

The scene with Eldon didn't quite go as planned!! Not sure where to take it.

:P
Sorry.
It's just been faster/easier to post in Saltmarsh as Martin than to write the big post Borderlands needs right now.

What i guessed but do we need a long one? A short one getting us all together would serve to keep the game flowing, and give us a chance to interact! Just a thought.

I am going to be away for the Christmas holiday starting tonight, heading up to upstate NY to visit with the in-laws, will be back after Christmas as my wife has to be back at work on the 26th. I might be able to log in and keep tabs. If not everyone have a good holiday especially since the end of the world did not happen but on a side note my store ran out of plan B and Next Step again because people figured what the hey its all gonna end again so why practice safe sex....

Give my regards to those of your in-laws that I know, please.

I'll be without internet access for Christmas day and the day after. Probably Christmas Eve as well, because my computer is in the kitchen, and the wife will most likely be baking, which makes the kitchen a no-fly-zone for the duration.

We'll be out of the house for most of the holiday as well.

My daughter (some of you know her as LittleLuna) came home from a Christmas party this morning with a quote I'd like to share, because it immediately made me think of Stik and his Martin in particular:

"I'd like to challenge you to a verbal duel, but it appears to me that you have come unarmed"

Happy Holidays to everyone!

Nice!
Very similar to a quite I heard a long time ago:.

"I'd challenge you to a battle of wits, but it appears you are unarmed."

They're probably one and the same, the original english being translated into German and passed on, my back-translation suffering from the fact that my idiomatic English is not that good. "Battle of wits" just didn't pop up.
