"I am a Wizard of Solinari, I have a code." He says by way of an explanation. "An Amphi Dragon? A sea Dragon...?" Jerrard ponders, "My knowledge of such things are limited, they are obsessed with treasure?" Turning to the others, he ponders for a moment.

"Perhaps, if we help them." He pauses, "If the Dragon was gone, would you leave the ships alone?"

"What is an amphi dragon?" Imani asks curiously. She looks over to Jerrard for a moment as well. Helping the sea elves was a noble idea, but it meant taking on a dragon to help them! Plus, how were they going to reach the dragon if it lived under the water?

"We have no interest in the surface-dwellers or their useless coins and jewels," the lead Dimernesti says. "Were it not for the dragon, we would have no need to bother any ships ever again."

One of the females, this one wearing a silver medallion of a dolphin, speaks up to answer Imani's question. "A terrible beast, like a giant turtle, that can breathe jets of boiling water. They are as intelligent as they are evil."

"Interesting.." Jerrard ponders, a dragon? He had read they grew stronger as they matured, could this be a young creature? Seeking to find its place in the world?

"Excuse me." Locky interjects. "While I like the idea of meeting a dragon, aren't they a little dangerous? I'm not saying it won't be fun, but different. And breathing might be fun too.." Her face lights up with a thought.

"My uncle trapspringer met a mermaid once, she helped him breathe and he had the most fabulous adventure." she grins, "say could you do that? That would be so great.."

"A dragon" Babushka thinks. "How do you tackle a dragon?"

Aloud, she asks: "And if we set out to fight that dragon, would you join the fight? Or stand aside, hoping the dragon will spare your children if you stand aside?"

"The Dimernesti are no cowards," the leader says. "But as long as our children are in danger, we cannot fight back. If we could guarantee the safety of our children, though, we would fight to the last man, if necessary."

"We would not suggest otherwise, you attack us, without knowing what we can do." Jerrard gives a look of concern. "Locky speaks the Truth, we cannot breathe underwater, unless you have some way to aid us, we have an issue."

The Dimernesti leader seems taken back by this. "We do have Potions of Waterbreathing for those who we rescue from drowning," he says. "You would genuinely help us, and ask nothing in return?"

"We would need to discuss it, as a group, but I am considering it." He says with all honesty, "Would you give us time? And would you allow the Vessel to pass unaided?" He asks, giving the group a glance, and then the Captain, his eyes linger on the new man, Temeral. "Could this Dragon be what attacked your vessel?"

"That sounds like great fun!" Lockys eyes light up. "Can we, please? I would give anything to go under water!"

"Before we discuss anything, we are going to need more information," Imani points out to the group. "Where exactly are the children being held?" she asked. If there was a way to get to the children without facing the dragon, then that seemed like the best idea.

"We cannot let the vessel go without looting their treasure," the lead Dimernesti says. "If we return without anything to show for it, the dragon will consider it a betrayal and devour our children."

The Dimernesti woman wearing the silver medallion answers Imani's question. "The children are kept in the dragon's lair, an undersea cave where it also keeps all of the treasure we have looted for it."

"How many entrances are there to the lair?" Babushka asks. "There is probably just one large enough for the dragon, but caves are often connected to a maze of small corridors. Could it be that there is a way leading to the lair that is large enough for the children and us, but not large enough for the dragon? Do you know other undersea caves close to the one the dragon uses as lair?"

"We only know of a single entrance and are not aware of any nearby caves to its lair," the lead Dimernesti admits.
