Escape from Khur

[Jenara]

"I suppose we could ask them, I feel really sad" The Kender pouts more, but her face suddenly lights up at the thought of somewhere new to visit.

"What is the Plan to rescue Malika? And we dont want to go to Mehmets Lands, do we?"

[Breila]

"I would avoid going through Mehmet's lands if that's at all possible" Babushka confesses. Dekker and I are comfortable in the mountains, so that is an option. But I would also go North and take a boat.
We should not forget asking Imani. Ulster, would you please knock at her door and ask her to join us?"

[Jenara]

"I haven't seen many mountains, I wouldn't mind going that way." Locky says a little subdued. She turns to Jerrard. "I have those spells, we need some from you, Invisibility would help, and its always fun." She moves slightly, hugging close to Babuskha, the realisation that this place wasn't exactly fun.

Thuskar goes and retrieves Ulster and Imani from their rooms, leading them back so everyone can participate in the discussion.

Thuskar then fills the two in on what they've discussed so far.

"We should avoid Mehmet's lands entirely," Imani says. "He will be combing the whole area for us."

[Jerrard]

"I want to do exactly that, avoid them as much as possible." He frowns. "I will have to accept I can't save the world, if I save Malika that will be something."

"I need to rest, to gain some spells, to save her." Jerrard looks off for a moment. "But Horses over the mountains or a boat ride? If we sold most of the horses we could probably afford a boat ride, that seems the most sensible option." He moves closer to Imani, "Could you go with Ulster and Thuskar we need to get a price for a boat ride for." He counts. "Seven of us, and two mounts. Then we need a to get a good price on the remaining mounts."

He sighs, raising himself to his full height. "Locky, Babuskha can you look at getting us some supplies, nothing major, but if we are going by boat we wont need anything until we make land."

"Is everyone ok with this? I want to get away from here as soon as possible, we need to do this."

[Breila]

"Supplies? I just told you we have supplies for a week, Jerrard" Babushka tells the mage, surprised.

[Jenara]

"We aren't saving the Kender?" Locky looks downcast, "I think I understand, if we sell the Horses to save them, then we will die in the desert." The little Kender wipes away a small tear, "Imani, your homeland is cruel and horrible, I wish I would never have come here."

She stands up, hugging Babuskha, "We are taking a Boat ride? I have to admit Silvanesti looks interesting." She wraps her arms around her body, "I will save Malika, I would like to save someone, the life she has is.... Cruel." She grabs Babuskha's hand.

[Jerrard]

"Sorry." He blushes, "This has been tough, I am not fully focused."


(That was intentional, wasn't ignoring, just. It shows he is not fully paying attention.)

Imani looks down at the kender. "Is the rest of the world so different?" she asks. Shaking her head, she says, "We will check the docks and see what we can find out." With that, she heads out with Ulster and Thuskar.

The party spends the rest of the day making arrangements. They sell all of the war horses, pay for their rooms for the next night, and anything else they need to do in order to leave the lands of Khur the following day.

When it is all said and done, they meet back at the inn again.

It is now Evening Watch (7:00 PM).

[Breila]

When everybody is back, Babushka invites them to the girl's room, where she had brought some refreshments.

"So, how do we proceed? she asks quietly once everybody is there.

[Jenara]

"Well, I need to get into the room, get the wand and free her." Locky gives a curious look, "Lots of this rely on me doesn't it? I have to sneak in, cast a spell to get her free.. And then we leave in the middle of the night."

[Breila]

"Do we really need the wand? When the spell is broken, it's useless, isn't it?" Babushka looks questioningly at Jerrard.

[Jerrard]

"Locky has the crux of it, we rescue her and we flee in the middle of the night, and wait till the boat sails." Jerrard replies after a few moments of silence, "As for the wand, although it would be useless, I can't help think that it would be better idea to hold on to it."

"So, I make Locky invisible, she sneaks in, gets the wand, we free Malika, and once we are free Locky asks Paladine to help her, remove the curse she is afflicted with."

"We need to get Artemis and Dekker to the vessel, prepare to depart." He rubs his temples, "I fear this will be rather dangerous, it could go very, very wrong."
