(Yeah, still need those hps and skill pts)

Pyros gets direction on who is in which room. He and Cross make short work of distributing the gear. Jerry and Merrick head off together as do Mira, Karl and Elsa; leaving the Kender largely to his own devices...

I will let you randomly decide if he grabs anything that is shiny or interesting.
==================

After about 5 minutes, he will look at Cross who is clearly engrossed in his studies.

"You've got this. Imma gonna head out and see what there is to see."

On his way out he will try to grab a drink to keep his insides warm as he goes out into the storm.(Hoping the bar staff remember he isn't a child.)

While drinking his drink he remembers his iron puzzle, and pulls that out.(Pretty sure he didn't solve it yet.)

[Correct, he is still working on this puzzle. Int-4 check for the puzzle. So roll int-4 or lower on d20]

The staff still looks at Pyros skeptically when he requests a drink, but as in the past he merely points to Cross to suggest it is for him. The staff complies and doesn't seem to pay much mind as to the final destination of said drink once delivered.

It is around 1pm, and the storm outside is practically a torrent. He does happen to note a raincloak hung up near the door that is sitting idle at present

Pyros is on fire...
Int-4(11) [1d20]=1
=======================================

He will slowly sip the drink for about 3 sips, then gulp.
He will casually walk past the cloak, and pull it down and slip it on an arm in one motion, as he leaves the room.

=================================================
I'm going with the success actually bored him because it was too easy.
So he walks away.

(Hah! Love it after all the trouble it gave him in the past)

Retrieving the blacksmith puzzle from his pack, it seems to be tangled oddly. Pyros glances at it and holds it from one end. Giving the tangled mess a good shake, the ring slips free into his hands. With a shrug he packs the completed puzzle away snd scoopshp the coat as he heads out into the storm...

(Where to first?)

The best part of Pyros is I don't need a plan, I sit down and start typing. And that is probably how he feels when he is deciding what to do.
==================================================================

He steps out into the storm, takes a deep breath, and tries to remember what was interesting the last time he was here.

He follows the street to Upper Skald, but doesn't like the look from the grumpy patrolmen who are stuck patrolling in the rain.
He will pass by the Golden Lute, making his way to the Glass Eye.

Opening the door and hopping in.

"WHEW!"

Pyros makes his way through the downpour, the rain-cloak keeping him from getting completely soaked though the hem of his pants still soak up some damp from the ground. Turning northward he finds his way to the Glass Eye.

The door opens to the tinkling of a bell on a curled piece of iron overhead. The shop is packed with various cases and stands bearing jewelry of every quality from cheap baubles to an elegant sapphire-riddled diamond necklace on a bust shelved high behind the main counter. Trinkets, antiques, old books and curiosities of nearly every sort can be found.

A balding middle aged man stands behind the nearby counter, carefully stacking some blood-red egg-shaped gemstones onto a felt-lined tray. A a brown satin curtain stands behind him, leading to what might be a stock area. He wears a brown corduroy waistcoat with a fine gold chain leading from one button hole to a small pocket. The coat fits snugly over his modest pot-belly and a well-made white shirt. A pair of half-framed spectacles dangle from a fine chain at his waistcoat. He looks up and smiles as Pyros walks in. Bonjour. Comment vas-tu mon jeune ami ?

Perhaps as no surprise, across from him Jerry and Merrick stand stacking large amounts of cash into a small sack. Ah, Pyros. Just in time. This is your share of the findings from the... trip. Jerry greets him, in Elven.

Hearing the Elven language, the shopkeep changes smoothly to it; though it is that tone-deaf version that most from this strange land seem to have adopted. Ah, of course! Welcome back to The Glass Eye. He says in a cheerful voice. Two basic wooden seats with inconsistent finishing sit nearby, obviously having been used by the pair of half-elves but minutes ago. I have some tea if you prefer, to warm the bones from such a dreadful storm. thinking, he seems to recall something. Ah yes! Have you been able to solve your new blacksmith's puzzle? he adds

All replies here will be in Elven.
===================================
To Jerry. "Thanks!" Looking at the pile of coins. "Would it be possible to get some of this in some gems? I um, that stack might weigh more than me."

"Tea would be amazing. Oh this thing?" He pulls out the completed puzzle.
"Just today actually. It had me for a bit , but I had a breakthrough this afternoon!"

(Nah, the Toad guy is Rautant who runs the "Toad's Toe" mage shop in Harmonia)

Chales nods, Of course. I have some small gems here worth 100 gold each. That should lighten your load significantly. The tea is warm and pleasant. Jerry and Merrick speak quietly near the door in common about something boring.

Ah, excellent! I do have one other puzzle, young sir, if you are interested. I must warn you, it is quite difficult compared to the others... 1 gold if you are interested, with the exchange of your old one.

===
with his personal stash of coin it looks like he could exchange up to 300 gp easily

Would he know if other places are willing to accept these gems as payment?
==========================================================
He farewell to Jerry and Merrick.

"That sounds like a deal!" He pulls out the puzzle, and the coin.

"Do you have anything that could be interesting when shot out of my Hoopak?"
He will pull it out and start to twirl it.

[Yeah, most merchants that deal in large amounts of cash would accept 'standard gems' as payment]

Chales considers the new question. Oh, well I do have some adventuring gear. Some unusual shot made of iron or silver, as opposed to the typical lead...

===
he has 5 sling bullets of iron and 3 of silver.
iron at 2cp each, silver shot at 3sp each

Chales inspects the stones and informs him that, while they are very nice looking, they are typical stones/ marbles. He probably sells some small polished rocks for collectors and the like, but not really stones for slinging, only sling bullets.

====
if pyros wants to sell his marbles and the shiny stones, Chales will offer 5cp for the set (shiny, pretty, red striped, marbles)
