Can the rose pearl be swopped for a number of lesser value pearls, e.g. 100gps each?
Evn if we make a loss, 4 off 100gp pearls would be good for us

Sure, we can say they swap the 500gp rose pearl for 5 pearls worth 100 ea. So now they have 6 pearls worth 100 ea

Sure. Here is what I have.

Level 1: Read Magic (4), Detect Magic(3), Color Spray(4), Shocking Grasp(1), Shield(4), Magic Missile(2), Feather fall (5), Burning Hands (6), Charm Person(2), Comprehend Languages (5), Identify (1), Mending(5)

I tried to get "Copy" from the vendor but that is still pending. he must get approval to release the spell to the public. I get 2nd level spells next level so will probably go with Blur or Cat's Grace to get my AC up.

Only (just!) reached Mage 2 so can't cast/learn L2 spells yet. Spells known:
Lvl1: Armour, Burning Hands, Charm Person, Colour Spray, Comprehend Languages, Detect Magic, Featherfall, Identify, Magic Missile, Mending, Protection from Hunger & Thirst, Read Magic, Shield;

Don't want Shocking Graps. Interested in: 2.Blur
(Although it will be quite some time before Linar can learn it!)

I do not have Blur but that is what I am wanting for next level. I have no 2nd level spells .

Bull is interested in learning Armor for sure.
