"I'm used to it, especially since I was in the town guard. Rank and file, and the like. Also we have never known the Elders to be cruel or unusual, everything usually comes with the understanding that we are doing the best for our community. Yes, let's hope their journey home was as enjoyable as ours!" He will smile and head to this residence.

I'm good with a montage or him seeing his mother/relatives, to get us going on the path to the meeting again.

Re: Act 1, Scene 2: “Into The Wild” (Group A: Main Game Thre
[sounds good. Squirrely still with us?]
Indendien grunts noncommittally at his response, though her tension eases slightly as they leave the council chambers. Elden chuckles, Well that was interesting... but I'm eager for more of a challenge... those goblins went down pretty easy, though I made the mistake of letting my guard down a couple times. he says offhandedly, rubbing his side where he'd been stabbed and healed before.
The group return to Nocturno's home for a time. They aren't there long before a faint chime and the whiff of honeysuckle announces a tall, finely featured Elven woman with long straight hair the color of the sun and skin soft and light like the petals of a white rose. The tall, graceful lady gazes over the group with an almost expressionless look but Nocturno detects the hint of hidden mirth in those familiar eyes.
She allows a small smile as her eyes settle on the young high elf. She bows with a slight incline of her head, Welcome home, protector. I am glad to see you safely returned to us. The corner of her mouth tightens the barest hint in amusement at sight of the wild elven woman.
Elden lets out a quiet whistle at the sight of her and nudges Nocturno, waiting impatiently to be introduced.

just wanted to throw that bit in
we can montage the rest if you want.
What preparations does the group want to make and where would they like to go after Misan? Recall, they are giving the bordertown group in 2 or 3 days since they have a longer journey. Of course there is still Katten to catch up with as well, the Dryad he promised to send a message for Ataya, or they could look for Signa, or any other option really.

[He is reading along as of the weekend anyway.]
"Ah mother, I am glad you were able to see me. It seems all is well here in Misan at least." He will sigh.
"These are my companions, Indendien, Elden, and Jordek." He then chuckles.
"This is my mother, Ravlene."
He will turn to his mother.
"Have you a clue as to where I could find a Dryad in the area? I have a message from another named Ataya to deliver to one near Misan."

Yes, all is well. Is your errand seen to? she asks, the hint that she suspects it is not barely detectable to her son. She nods to the newcomers and extends her slender hand, palm down, to each as they are introduced.
Elden takes the offered hand with a wide grin and bows formally, kissing the back. He stands, a strange, silly grin across his face the whole time. He glances back at Nocturno, the smirk growing. Indendien takes the offered hand somewhat awkwardly and shakes it, apparently unsure how to proceed. Another hint of mirth tugs at his mother's eyes, likely not noticed by the rest of the group.
She turns back to her son as he asks. One eyebrow quirks up in surprise, as much as a gasp from any non-elf. You must mean Asani... And you met Ataya on your journey? My, you have been busy. Here I thought they had sent you to fight goblins and you have been... She smirks a little as her eyes decidedly do not move towards the wild elf. Well, they will do you no harm at least. But be careful, my son. Dryads sometimes have a habit of... borrowing young men for a time. She turns her gaze to Indendien, You'll help him keep his wits about him, won't you?
The wild elf smiles crookedly and gives Nocturno a sideways glance. Even if I have to put a blindfold on him. She jests.
Ravlene laughs high an light, like the sound of silver chimes. I think I like her, Nocturno. She may keep you out of trouble... May I inquire, what is the nature of this message you bring to Asani?

"I am to give her this." He will produce the mahogany acorn. "I'm also to let her know of our war upon the goblin kind." Nocturno sighs.

Interesting. This is a very special seed you carry... the Guardian Trees, such as those that protect our home, are grown from such... this is a rare thing. Guard it well. You can find Asani by following the Yew river northward. There will be a small community of tribal humans there. Once you pass it heading north, there will be a place where the river creates a small, narrow island; not more than a mile long and less than half as wide. It is on this small island you will find her.

"Mother as always you are a wealth of knowledge, and know exactly what I need." sigh... "Eventually I will need to do something on me own." That was said in fake mockery of himself.
"Shall we have a meal with my new friends?"

Ravlene smiles beautifically at him, It is a mother's duty to prepare her child for the world. I can share what i know, but the task is yours. I am certain you do your duty well. she says kindly. You and your friends are welcome to take supper with your father and I. Will you be staying in Misan tonight?

it's about mid afternoon, so they can eat if they like.

Nocturno will look at the group. "I think so, the other part of the group had to go to Bordertown to take the prisoners we freed home."
============================
Can he estimate the journey for an afternoon, and return for supper type excursion?

[It's probably 5 miles each way, so roughly a half-day's journey overall. If they left now they could be there by sundown, but the trip back would be through the dark. Doable, but a consideration.]

"Ok, we will join you and father for supper. I think I will show my fellows around, maybe treat them to a light lunch while we wander."
He will look at the group.
"How does that sound?"

Elden nods with a broad grin, eyes cutting again to the elven lady. Indenden’s smile is smaller, but still obvious, That sounds like fun. Perhaps I can learn more about you. She looks to Ravelene, You must have so many stories about this one. she says, tilting her head in Nocturno’s direction.
[Presuming Jordek agrees as well]
Splendid. I must go make arrangements. Then I will see you all at the hour of twilight. She says. Nodding graciously to the group she takes her leave. Elden lets out a small breath as if he had been half-holding it. Wow, she’s something else, isn’t she? he asks with a crooked grin. Do you think she’s seeing anyone?
===
Nocturno, you know rivi better than I. Does this seem like something Elden would say, or is that too much?

He will take them on a tour of the city, finding a vendor to purchase lunch at.

When Nocturno mentions the hunting squirrels, Jordek gives him a look but lets it pass. When the possibility of supper with Nocturno's parents is mentioned Jordek pipes up "I wouldn't miss a chance to sup with the ones that raised straight-laced over here" At the mention of touring the town and finding a vendor for lunch Jordek pats his leather pouch and then shrugs "sounds good to me."
At Elden's comment he can't resist addressing the human "maybe the one that put him in there" with a thumb jerk in Nocturno's direction.

Nocturno will just GLARE at the pair, but not say anything.
"I have just the spot in mind."
