Mira continues to walk towards the waterfall, although she does check to see if anyone is following. The shacks themselves didn't feel to her like the place a creature like that would hide. But a creepy waterfall....

Karl begins to search the next part of the shacks, opening doors and generally looking around like he would on a door to door search.

Iscind Aranya

Iscind, having no better luck than Esker, and probably less so, gives up on searching for any clue in the tracks. She intends to keep an eye on the knight as he searches, lest he find anything untoward.

Pyros definitely goes with Mira, as he also had the same feeling the previous night.

Karl continues his search westward into the thick of the shrubs, shadowed by Iscind in case of trouble. Elsa and Gregor move to other shacks in the same area, careful not to drift too far from the Knight and Ranger while continuing the search. One by one the four scare up some raccoons, possum and a plethora of other rodents harboring in the tool sheds. Each shanty seems more rundown than the last, in dire need of repair or support with some barely still standing; and only that due to the saplings growing against one side.

Jerry pauses to focus on the signs she has seen so far, Merrick standing silently by as he considered their surroundings as well. To this point the isolation, rundown nature and frequent pests observed in this area all are typical of the type of place certain vampires would lair. But thinking of her Father as a person, the dilapidated and unkempt area might not sit well. He had been a man who took pride in taking care of himself and his things, and such a would likely be down on his list. While not overly fanciful or given to excess, he likewise did not gravitate towards neglected properties. A smoothly-running yet humble operation or a bastion of defense were much more likely to attract his comfort. That said, he was a clever man who knew his daughter knew him well, and any such understanding might be considered and prepared against.

Kybalion, better suited for kicking down doors and killing bad people, assists as best he can. He pokes, prods, and rifles through the various shacks and structures. Pointy ends into hay bales/stacks, opening and door or lid, knocking on wood looking for hollow sounds, in and out of places and keeping an eye on the group. He sees one lone party member heading for the waterfall with what he can only guess is assuredness that they might have seen something. He begins heading that way.

Jerry calls out loud enough for those around her to hear, "Nothing in the shacks. In life he was fastidious. Doubt that his coffin would be in the open. Can anyone fly high and look for another building, or other construction tucked away in these bushes? Else i think we check out whether there's a cave of somesuch behind the waterfall."

Mira gives Pyros a grin and heads to the waterfall.

Esker Manyblades

Esker tried to remember the lore Gundren had tried to teach him about undead leeches. One thing he did remember was they were supposedly unable to pass over running water. And while a waterfall runs, the waterfall itself hides many a nook and cranny or perhaps cave, at least in his experience. So joining the others, he makes his way towards the pounding sound of falling water.

Iscind Aranya

Iscind watched the noble warrior search the shrubbery. She had heard knights loved shrubbery more than anything, at least that is what her clansfolk said. But she never knew why exactly. Alas the shrubbery hid nothing but more shrubbery. At least she took comfort in the fact the knight was not accosted by undead leeches or shrubber salesmen.

Kybalion joins Mira and Pyros as they approach the waterfall. The stones are smooth and slick from centuries of erosion. The deep bubbling pool aptly-named 'The Cauldron' gives no hint of shallows or hidden ledges to traverse behind the falls. To attempt to climb over would be treacherous indeed, and to attempt to swim the Cauldron tantamount to suicide. If anything lies behind that falling water, likely magic would be needed to reach it alive. From here, however, Pyros notices a figure high on a cliff above, the shape of a bow poking over the silhouette. The figure soon moves back into the treeline above.

Back at the shrubs and shacks, the others continue searching, finding little more than more of the same. A lone figure emerges from the gravel path uphill to tne East. A slender figure in leathers with the look of a hunter or woods-person to them...

Pyros will nudge Mira and point. Staying quiet.

Riel appears placing her left Hand over her heart, the palm lowered to earth. While she carries many weapons they remain at her sides as she approaches.

"Greetings Travellers, I appear to have lost my bearings, this settlement isn't familiar to me." her words are in Elven as she approaches. her right hand hangs limply at her side, she has obvious wounds on her body but she is trying her best to not let it show.

Mira catches Pyros's gist, she shakes her head at the Waterfall, if that creature was there, they couldn't reach it. This was becoming a lost cause and she couldn't lose anyone else.

"Another traveller, they have been arriving at night lately.." She asks as she turns away from the waterfall, "Let's go greet them." She begins her approach, "Elven?" With a raised eyebrow she approaches.
