Pyros secures the door then checks the bed, which is quite finely made, soft and comfy. Searching under the mattress, covers and pillows doesn't reveal anything hidden. Moving on to the wardrobe he soon finds the secret drawer Mira mentioned, which is full of fine jewelry, all of which seems high quality.

He shrugs with something nagging at the base of his brain. But moves on.

Climbing up on the nightstand, and tries the door.

Pyros slides the side table over and stands on it. Even so he is just barely able to reach the bottom of where the secret door should be. Fiddling around he finds the edge well-made to match the wall design itself, to the point it seems he would never find it from this side if he hadn't already known where it was. With a little finesse he pops the portal open to the secret room with the three couches.

"Finally!" he then catches himself, looks around, and listens. If nothing makes a warning he climbs in and closes the door.

Pyros hauls himself up into the room with the couches. Light spills in from the many windows of the octagonal room

He will suspiciously look back through the door he came in by, then close it.

Flexing his fingers, and his grin. "Ok, you silly secret, secret room. What else could you be hiding?" He will mumble to himself.

He will go looking for the door to the room with the mimic.

Pyros quickly finds the secret door to the square central room. A small but comfortable looking bed is built into the southern wall and a sturdy 3' tall end table rests in the center of the room. Both the bed and the table are composed of a dark, gnarled wood that has been well polished. The gleam from their surfaces is constantly shifting with your movements in the room, making it seem as though the wood itself were convulsing. The spears from the trapped bed have aparrently been retracted and a new sheet laid atop with the covers carefully made. The chest-turned-mimic is gone, though some signs of it's dark blood still stain the floor where it was slain

The table itself is a simple affair without drawers, but as Pyros examines it he notices odd patterns of wear and grit ground in on the top, as if something dirty had scraped it repeatedly. On the ground by the legs of the table are many fine scrape marks suggesting it was moved often to and from the same spot.

Pyros moves the table to where the scrapes on the floor indicate, but there is nothing revealed on the floor or the table itself.

Looking around the room to see what the table could be used for in this position, nothing comes to mind at first... until he looks upward. There, just above the table, is an odd and very fine seam in the plaster of the ceiling...
