Nocturno turn will smirk and give an amused sniff. Then continue walking.

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
[Same spells as before?]
The party and their entourage make ready, following the Ranger's lead into the forest. The morning passes pleasantly enough, though near noon a heat begins to build. Around that time the party breaks from the trees to the wide main road where the ever encroaching forest blurs the edges.
To the south the now familiar wide bridge spans a steeply sloped embankment. 30 feet below cold, clean water rushes by; the calm surface indicating a hidden depth. There seems to be no easy way down the embankment, nor up the opposite side; but a well-constructed bridge of stone and timber spans the divide. It is clearly well maintained, and wide enough for a wagon and a two men abreast besides. A 3’ high thick wooden rail makes up the edges.

Spells good, is this the bridge with the troll house?

[Yes, the troll den was beneath the South (far) side of this bridge. They are about a half day from Bordertown.[
Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Are they able to see it is still destroyed from this side?
If needed he will get the group to stop, and ask Katten to scout the other side before getting the group on the bridge.

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
The greasy smear is still on the stone bridge where they burned the troll body. The den itself was under the brudge high on the embankment. The only way to be sure is to climb down and look, but one risks falling to the river below.
[Last time I think they tied Jordek to a rope. Someone could climb, or Chitt could check it out]

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Pendulum Jordek sounds like the best plan. Also bait on a line for the troll that came home.

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
[Lol. I mean you killed the troll, and burned it. Katten spoke to Signa before meeting the group in Bordertown and he said it was 'the one that got away' when he raided that other troll lair. So supposedly there was only ever one in this place, because it had escaped/survived Signa's raid.]

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Linar crosses to the other side and climbs down, the river rushing rapidly below him. Directly beneath the center of the stone bridge large claw marks surround the opening of a den large enough for a troll. A musky yet filthy scent permeates the lair, though it seems to be fading somewhat.
Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Katten shakes her head at Linar, allowing him to go down without her for a moment, instead she leans backwards on the bridge, arms pressed against the rail as she bends her body releasing the otherwise tense muscles.

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Linar pops up a Dancing Lights and lets that play around inside the den, both to draw out creatures and reveal better the inside. Taking his time he looks, advances a stride, and so on..
if nothing threatens and nothing of interest is noticed he tries a Detect Magic just on the off-chance.

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Linar draws upon the essence of the underdark that permeates his being, conjuring a trail of lights to better illuminate the den. His eyes glow vioket for an instant before it fades, making them sensitive to the emanations of magical energy. After a thorough search he finds nothing magical or of any value remaining in the den.
Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Katten remains above, whistling a little tune.

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
As Linar is doing his explorations below the bridge, Findalsip tried to find a shaded area because rather intrusive light ball in the sky is making things bothersome. He just sits and stares in the direction of Katten. He has seen many thing s in his life but she is unique in his travels. While his gaze is in her direction one can tell he is lost in thought and not aware of what is going on around him.
