Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
I had heard the pieces were given away to different communities with the charge to guard them. They were separated so that they would not attract creatures seeking to use the device for evil purposes It seems few who were trusted with them managed to protect them properly. Indeed, this Ossunin seemed to know about them. You must take great care with what you have, that they not fall into the wrong hands. Penlemmir says with some gravity.

Nocturno will use any of his Cure spells if anyone in the party is still wounded. Otherwise he will make pleasant with the cousin High Elves.
Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Linar pauses his whittling and comments to Katten, "Commonly done to prevent a powerful item's abuse by those of little conscience and evil intent." He looks intently at her and then focuses back on his woodwork.
OOC
Linar is whittling away at the piece of hardwood. It seems to be roughed out as a humanoid.
Linar has actually cheated a little, using some cantrips to remoce some of the larger unwanted regions of hardwood.
Alteration cantrips:
"Fingers strong, wood here begone!"
"Gently shaped, this bit's been vape'd!"

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Nocturno spends some time in prayer, healing both himself and his Svirfneblin ally so that all their injuries are removed. Linar employs a few cantrips to ease the process as he crafts
[If there is nothing else, I'll go ahead and end the scene. As I mentioned before, I'll lump xp for the travel together when they get to Bordertown at the end of the next game day.]

Katten nods In understanding, she raises her arms and then stifles a little yawn..
"Dran is tired, we sleep now." She states In her usual blunt way. "Meal good."

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
FIndalsip offers thanks for the healing. "I appreciate that. You are most kind my... friend". Findalsip, in a way stammers over the word friend. He isn't accustomed to such things as Deep Gnomes are very reclusive by nature and aren't in the custom of making friends easily. His wanderings have kept him away from his village for some time now. He knows he the like a vein of coal in dolomite when it comes to his kin. This group with their mission however, have somewhat accepted him and they are becoming more like his tribe, whatever that might be. He ponders these things and is grateful that his deity is on good terms with those of the elven pantheon. Before retiring he will give thanks to Callarduran while lying on the unseen rock he has found. He will try his best to sleep while there is no roof of stone above him.

If there's any response from the fellow's offer to see if any wish to exhchange spells with him then Linar will be interested.

[Ooc] No one has come forward to exchange spells after Penlemmir spread the word. He admitted it was kind of a slim chance since this is a very small community and the type of magic they use isn't really associated with spellbooks the same way. It's more like a natural or druidic magic.[/color]

Linar does miore slow, methodical whittling, getting closer and closer to the desired shape, some detail starting to appear.

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
As the evening wears on the group and their hosts begin to retire, one by one until the last settles in for rest...
..
.
In the morning, a small group come to see the travellers off; reiterating their thanks and wishing the group well. Penlemmir hands Nocturno a sealed scroll tube. Our advisement for the Council of Lesoger. The seal should remain in place so they will know that our intentions come to them unaltered. I do not know how much help it will be in your request, but many peoples' fates hinge on their decision. Be well, and always you and your friends are welcome here.
====
Start Blade, 9th of Flourish, 7AM
Casters pick your spells for the day
The next stop is Bordertown, about 1 day's journey. The quickest way is basically SouthEast through the forest to where the bridge lies along the main road, then following the road south. The party should arrive a little before dark, if there are no interruptions.

Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
"Many thanks for this, and the meal. I hope this helps our cause." He will carefully pack away the letter. Bringing up the rear as normal once they get moving.
Re: Act 3, Scene 1: Assembly and Supplication
Findalsip falls into the back end of the traveling group. Just in front of Nocturno. “I hope lifting me above your head doesn’t count as bringing up the rear.” He jokes trying to get the adventure of to a light hearted start.
