Legend:
Talisbane has been around for nearly 4000 years. He was originally forged
by an Elven bladesmith by the name of Eldiy Talisbane, for the soul purpose
of slaying a huge red dragon, which the Elves called "Typ'iacon" or in common
"Red Scorch". Eventually Eldiy faced the giant menace, but only to meet his
own fate of death. Years Later an unknown thief stole the great sword from
Typ'iacon's layer and sold it to a magic user by the name of Tycwa the Veicecious,
who in turn enchanted the sword with it's final properties.
A
few years time later Tycwa gave the sword to a local warrior in Avsay "Daerric
Saableson", one of great skill and a man true of heart. In return Daerric
was to rid Avsay of the ever torment of Typ'iacon. Daerric's quest was shortly
put to rest in a close to death battle against the undefeatable red terror,
from which he only managed to escape with one of Typ'iacon's brilliant scales.
The scale now hangs high above the mantle in the Dragon's Layer Inn within
Avsay. For years now Talisbane has been passed down from generation to generation
on an ever hopeful quest to someday find the right person to defeat Typ'iacon's
dornful existence.
