Description
The
3rd Human Kingdom "Mecadina". This kingdom is definitely the least
recognized Human Kingdom throughout the land. The people are quiet, hard workers
for the most part and the leaders of Mecadina rule as only true leaders do.
The
knights of Dreve "the capital city of Mecadina" are valiant beyond
a doubt. Now numbering only 10, the knights of Dreve follow their leader's every
command and will follow him into any given situation. Sir
Adaran Holme, being the head knight of the kingdom vows to serve king Barrik's
every request unquestionably and honors the royal family by attending the infamous
Knights Rally annually along with a few of his closest noble companions.
Cities
of Mecadina include the capital city of Dreve and the communities of Dio, Maclin,
Craceio and Pitent. The new district of Palanstine includes the beginnings of
a new settlement called Karpathia. Most of the these places in Mecadina are
small villages of not more than 600 citizens. This grand kingdom borders with
the kingdom of Wellington and runs along the shores of the great lake of Ciez.
Here many local barges and galleons run across the massive lake making trading
runs to two of Hannel's major ports "Carn and Tagh". This kingdom
is also covered in lush vegetation and wilderland forests. Mecadina's two major
exports are wood and exotic fruits.
As
of 606 A.D. King Barrik claimed rights to nearly half of the land just to the
south of Mecadina's main border (former Plains of Red), thus increasing his
overall land mass and creating a newly secured environment for his people to
travel through as well as raise profitable families. Almost nobody lives within
this region currently, but with the new settlement of Karpathia is quickly rising
and it's sure to attract peoples attention in the near future.
This
region used to be home to thousands of Goblins before the Goblin wars took place
in 605.A.D. Which alternatively came close to putting their race on the extinction
list. This massive war resulted in many factions and races doing battle. Not
only were the Goblins wiped out, but thousands of Dwarves, Barbarians and Humans
were also slain in the historic battle. Now only a few hundred Goblins exist
within the Human Kingdoms and only a handful of male Dwarves.
This
lands promotes many new problems for King Barrik and his closest ally King Winston.
The absence of water within this barren plain is a small problem next to the
amount of rampant creatures and savage barbarians. Some of Vastonia's strangest
monsters live within these plains and don't take nicely to uninvited guests.
A few of these critters include the highly feared Land Dwelling Beast, Sand
Mold and desert Were
Rat's.
Geography
A
lush beautiful kingdom in all aspects. Tall mountains border the southern side
of Mecadina while evergreen forests host the north , Lake Ciez rests to the
east and the fastest flowing river in all the land called Bloodstone River secures
the western front.
Justice
System
A
true democracy, Mecadina follows the LHKS
to a tee. The king believes in equal rights for all and is perhaps the most
noble (most respected) king in all Vastonia. Although some of his allies view
this system as foolish and refuse to follow his lead in the fellowship of man.
Military/Forces
Weakened
by the wars, Mecadina suffers the same fate as that of their allies. Low in
number and struggling to expand Mecadina's military force is weak and must be
reinforced over the next 25 years or perhaps face losing the Kingdom to it's
enemies.
