If one were to travel to Vastonia's furthest western region, they would come upon a divided kingdom called Banesmeire. The two divided kingdoms share nothing and the constant conflicts keep the populace to what would be thought of as a easily controlled level.

If you find yourself in East Banesmeire you would be treated as an equal, and would be given the choice to elect your rulers, while people in West Banesmeire live in fear of their overlords and coward under their wake of supremacy.

Only one city can be found in East Banesmeire which is ruled by King Palin Dunheim the II, this is the great city of Vesna. Here over 100,000 people dwell in their quaint little establishments. This community is very prosperous and the rulers of West Banesmeire seek to conquer these riches and bask in the wealth as their own. So far over the years East Banesmeire's courageous militia has managed to fend off West Banesmeire's relentless assaults, but with such persistence it's only a matter of time until East Banesmeire becomes another district of West Banesmeire, thus reuniting the once glorious empire of Banesmeire. Though the thought of this unification is what encourages East Banesmeire's leaders to fight even harder to keep the two kingdom's separate. So far with help from valiant outsiders and backup men at arms from Icrandor, West Banesmeire's army has been suppressed.

Rolling hills, wandering rivers and vast deserted lands cover this countryside. During the summer season, temperatures can reach heights of up to 140 degrees in the day and plummet to only 5 degrees a night. This type of terrain can easily wear down an adventurer if they lack food and/or sleep. The river Blackflood and the tail end of the Ash Mountain chain separate East from West Banesmeire. The soft but wide Gawathlo river also runs through the kingdom passing by into the Forest of the Damned.

Eastern Banesmeire's social structure consists of honorable leaders, strict laws and proper punishments for crimes committed. All criminal acts are dealt with within days, if not immediately. Rulings are passed by one high official know as a Judicator (judge, jury and executioner). It is the defendant's right to plea his/her case in full, then wait for the person accusing them their criminal actions to have their say. Once both sides are heard the Judicator passes sentence, which is then immediately carried out.

Weakened by the constant conflicts between themselves and West Banesmeire, East Banesmeire still retains a formidable size force and when called upon reinforcements from the south are generally at hand.
