Amazons!

The Amazon warriors are tall, slender, human barbarian women, who would rather kill a man than have him for a friend. They are generally good-looking, but have sharp, snide features that can stare a hole through anyone. The Amazons live in many places throughout Vastonia, but find the temperate jungles of the east to be their favorite dwellings.

They adopt whatever weapons suit their territory, but usually favor bows, spears and short swords. There societies are ruled by one supreme head referred to as the chieftess or balistien. Amazon tribes trade only with nomads and wanders of the deserts. They avoid civilization at all costs and if forced to move amongst strange people and/or towns, an Amazon will act extremely erratic, moving quickly, dodging in an out, or possibly attack people at random etc... These women are quite nimble on there feet and have combative reflexes equal to any fine warrior, especially when provoked into combat.

Their housing is another matter indeed. They tend to spend so much time practicing archery and other skills of war that efforts to build decent constructs, for that matter any buildings are few and far between, although Amazons are famous for devising extremely vile traps and absolutely wicked modes of transportation.

Amazons are virtually unsurprisable and only invisible assailants will have any luck at all. They will use any means necessary in combat to win. Amazon warriors will kick groins, punch throats and claws eyes when they find themselves unarmed and that's just there way of saying how are yeah. They don't mess around and always get straight to the point of any situation. Thus the reason for being one of Vastonia's most respected warrior tribe.

Physical Features

Amazons generally have dark tanned skin, well proportioned bodies and tight - defined muscles. Their eyes and hair color can vary in color much the same as any other human female. They stand in height from 6-7' tall and weight anywhere from 115lbs to 150 lbs. Amazons usually live short lives because of how they live, but have been known to live up to 100 years of age.
