Size: G (187' tall,

Morale: 20 fearless
(omniscient)
XP Value: 73,000
Appearance: Demedus
appears to be a gigantic half black dragon, half gargantua. This creature walks
upright with his wings usually spread high within the air. His claws reach lengths
of up to 8' and his teeth are never shorter than 2' in span. Since Demedus's
abolishment was so long ago, his powers are potentially higher than normal,
but his appearance has greatly diminished over the passing centuries. Basically
meaning, his wings have huge holes and his skin consists of many broken scales
and nattered skin.
Combat: Demedus
attacks with raking front claws causing 3-30 damage each and lunging bites with
his powerful jaws which can inflict anywhere from 6-60 +12 damage. He can trample
victims for 10-100 damage. His 90' tail sweeps all within it's path. Anyone
not making a saving throw Vs Petrification, suffers 8-80 damage. Demedus's special
attacks include spell casting ability at 24th level ability (but only M-U spells),
a breath weapon which sprays forth a straight 70' long, 7' wide, napalm-like
substance, which causes 24d4 damage upon initial contact and sticks to enemies
for 1d4 additional rounds. Which in turn burns for half as much damage as the
original infliction for the remainder of the napalms duration (nasty eh!). Demedus
also has a 50 yard fear radius, all must save Vs paralyze at -4 or flee in terror
(even the fearless). any who return to fight suffer a -2 penalty to hit. If
these characters see any allies fall to Demedus they will suffer an additional
penalty of -1 / ally killed, until they possess no will to fight this merciless
creature. Demedus regenerates at a phenomenal rate of 10 hitpoints per round,
and fights till at least -50 hitpoints. This creature can only be permanently
killed by dismemberment and burning the individual parts.
Habitat/Society:
Demedus can only be found/ summoned by using one of the three Dreknyr Orb summoning
devices. Demedus has been dormant for over a millennia. Demedus's power has
risen to a peak, he must only be summoned with great caution. Any who raise
this unstoppable creature must be in total control at all times or else Demedus's
curse will be broken, thus allowing him to destroy aimlessly.
Ecology: Demedus's
diet consists of whatever can be engulfed in his huge mouth. He can snatch up
objects no larger than 12' in width and eat creatures up to 27' tall. Demedus
may have undoubtedly anything within his stomach, including his treasure type.
Demedus is a legendary creature throughout Vastonia. His legend and history
far exceed any other creature. The human calendar actually revolves around this
creatures abolishment and summoning points.

Size: G (75' tall)
Morale: 20 fearless
(omniscient)
XP Value: 600,000
(if killed without bonuses) otherwise 60,000
Appearance: The
Metamorphine stands a towering 75 feet tall on average. It possesses an incredibly
powerful bipedal frame, much the same as that of a titan, although it would
closer resemble a gigantic saskquatch (bigfoot). The Metamorph has two powerful
mandibles that are capable of snapping even the largest of trees in half. At
the end of arm arm you will find a massive bone-like claw, which forms into
a weapon much the same as a giant scythe. It's eyes resemble that of a common
house fly but much, much larger.
Combat: The Metamorphine
is not highly intelligent, and moves rather awkwardly indeed. It wanders the
countryside, smashing through almost anything in it's quest for sustenance.
When in combat the Metamorphine uses it's massive arms and powerful extremities
to cut through it's enemies with ease, although it rarely has any. It can also
just as easily stomp on it's opponent's, since almost nothing is larger than
itself. If a natural 20 is rolled during one of it's attacks, the Metamorphine
has snagged it's enemy into it's mandable-like jaws and automatically inflicts
an additional 1d20 crushing damage to that opponent before dropping him/her
or completely swallowing them, (save Vs Paralyze to not be swallowed).
Habitat/Society:
Metamorphines can only be found in far wilderlands, they avoid society at all
costs, but won't hesitate to attack ships, wagons or anything else that may
cross it's path. The Metamorphine prefers temperate areas, but may stray into
arctic regions if food supplies become scarce.
Ecology: The Metamorphine's
diet consists of mostly vegetation, although a good helping of raw meat is needed
occasionally to improve it's digestive cycle.

Special Defense:

Magic Resistance:
200%
Size: S (4' tall)
Morale: 20 fearless
(omniscient)
XP Value: 7,000,000
Appearance: The
Guardian appears as withered old mage, encompassed in a nattered soft grey cloak.
He stands barely 4' tall. The Guardian was placed here to test the truly brave
by asking three random questions to a true believer. If the person attempting
to answer all three questions gets them all right, he/she is granted passage
over the "Bridge of Death". Failure to answer all three questions
correctly results in that person being magically hurled into the Gorge of Eternal
Parelle (no save), from which there is no return "only death". Upon
approach of the Guardian any being will here the following statement:
"If thou
can answer thee questions three, the Bridge of Death you will see".
Anyone who has
started to answer the questions, must finish or be cast into the gorge. The
Guardian will only ask questions of truly brave knowledge. If all three questions
are answered promptly, he will answer any question within his power to the benefactor.
There is also a 10% chance he will give them a magical item to help them continue
there journey.
Combat: The Guardian's
wave of death is done with his hand. In one quick single circular wave with
this hand any aggressor or anything else that cannot answer his three questions
will be cast into the "Gorge of eternal Parelle". The guardian is
immune to all psionic attacks and any types of poison, charms and/or wishes
(including all mortal magic). The guardian can heal at will up to 4 times/day,
thus restoring his health to full. He also can detect any attempt of a surprise
attack. Any who attempt to fly by (around) the guardian will automatically be
set beforth him to answer the questions. Any who know his real name will be
granted anything he/she wishes. No amount of wish spell, or other magical means
will reveal his real name, unless he himself has granted that wish.
Habitat/Society:
The Guardian can only be found in once place and that place is always near the
Bridge of Death. The is perhaps all fables, but to most valiant knights this
place does exist and anyone who could surpass the Bridge of Death would be granted
eternal life. The whereabouts of the bridge is unknown by all, including most
Gods.
Ecology: The Guardian
has been blessed with Immortality, thus he does not have to sleep, eat or breath
and follows all rules that apply to Vastonian Immortals. He is commonly thought
of as one of the first creations of life.
