What, seven pages in and no Deep Purple yet? This must be remedied.

You like Journey eh? Here's my favorite song by that band. "Only the Young" 1984 with lyrics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl6Q9tKZxU8
This song takes me back man! This band was so cool. They allowed a young boy who was dying of cancer to hear it before it was ever released: because he wouldn't survive to see it's release date. They went to see him personally and members said that he put on the head phones leaned back and shut his eyes and made a big smile. The band couldn't do anything but cry at how much it meant to him. Rest in peace Kenny. Here's the complete story. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=jou ... 9E6A7DF44C

Rockabilly with balls? Look no further than the Brian Setzer Orchestra.

I posted a link to a video of Rumble in Brighton a while back. How about Rock This Town, recorded on the same day?

Foreigner- Juke box Hero, 1981 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7tzi8wkYgI
I love this Band, they had a sound all their own from the word "Go" "He'll come alive, come alive tonight"!
Yep, I'm a child of the 80's.
