Are we really that sad??? My old '89 PHB fell apart.. I found a first Ed at a boot sale for virtually nothing, perfect condition.

Sad, well, that depends, I also love opening up an antique book in a secondhand bookshop. But the PHB-font and layout brings back memories, of how I was 12 and suddenly discovered this secret world hidden away between the cover of books. Something that latched on to my imagination and wouldn't let go. I felt like I was sharing a secret treasure when I showed this stuff to my friends

I remember borrowing someone else's book, and desperately needing my own.
Bought mine the next day.

I love the whole idea of creating a character, reading through the pages of equipment and setting that PC on a world of adventure...

something about this new color scheme makes me want to post....

the elf in the race section of the pathfinder corebook made me like them a little more, only because it looks like he heard what i said about them and that he is gonna stab me...

You have to love elves... I mean who wouldn't want to play a character that couldn't be raised from the dead, and if they were reserected they'd be all down and moody cuz you pulled them from the afterlife... lol

or moreover, i love to hate elves. those little pale and slender bodies are quite good with BBQ sauce

nah, they actually fight back...besides eating an elf is like eating a chicken nugget. its small, better with sauce, are nice and juicy, with just a little bit of crunch.
