Jeeze doomer, that would put me over the edge at the moment... LOL.

However, unlike my wife's mom, which I get along with "most" of the time. My mom is really rough to my wife. She doesn't mean to be, but here no holds barred attitude has pushed my wife over the edge wayyy more then her mom pushes me. So I'd say, we are more on the even side now.

My policy in life (well one of many is). If you can't get along with your in-laws, then the marriage is doomed. I say this because I've seen it a 1000 times now... it just won't work, no matter what the wife says, or how much she loves you etc. There's just something about mothers-in-laws that always seem to get daughters to turn against you if they don't like you.

My mother in law is so fat she's got other mother in laws in orbit around her.

I wanted to do something nice so I bought my mother-in-law a chair. Now they won't let me plug it in.

Mother in law is over today again, helping me and my wife with our upcoming yard sale. As soon as she walked in the yard she said "Still haven't done the driveway yet eh?"

I was like, nope, not gonna do it again. Then I said to her "Did you come here to help, or just bitch at me". She replied "just to bitch at me"... OK, fair enough... we are both assholes. Picking on each other is part of the package I guess.
