....your avatar, I mean?
As a woman I don't take offense, not really, but I'm a unique case.
This thread and one or two others really kicked up a storm a while back!

My cat's mildly offended...but that might just be wind !
I've never used Drow in my campaigns. They've been mentioned as being there
but never encountered.. never really thought out why.. just didnt take to them
as a choice.
The fantasy novels involving Drow like those by RASalvator is it ? always gave
me the impression of a huge organised civilisation that the humble adventurer
would be wise to avoid contact with I guess.
Its something to re read up on though cheers

Yep its still going... Strong as well!
So thinking, I wouldn't play an Orc or Goblin etc, Many of the humanoid races are based on us, but the Orcs etc seem to be based on some nomadic tribe from the Amazon! (exaggerating I know, but you get the idea)
I could never see myself playing such a creature, maybe I know my limits? I can do an Orc as an NPC monster, but to immerse yourself in that character is beyond me.

Read my mind. I was just hatin on keeblers earlier today. Tolkien gave them mainstream fame. Gary Gygax gave them level caps.Ghost_of_Rustigo wrote:Elves. Tolkien had a hard-on for elves, and it has infected them in every role-playing game ever since. Since elves have ~1000 years to build up levels, shouldn't there be uber-elves running around at level 90, crushing everything in their paths?
And halflings. They've never done anything important. They are a race waiting to be enslaved.
And halflings give paladins something to protect and half-orc pc's something to eat.
Re: are you a DND racist?
Yup! Gnomes are making a comeback in my new world too
Jungle Gnomes are really cool... gonna have some really cool background / history and famous NPC's as well. It's all about the DM again... shitty DM = shitty npcs, which = shitty world

Actually those Tech-gnomes were cool. Let me bring some science into the realms.
I hate those Quallan tho. Fiend Folio, not 3+ed, the old one. Know their called foulspawn berserker or something.
Can't find the old Folio in pdf anywhere yet. 2HD 8'tall. Chaos tribesman that make you attack shit randomly while they pop your first character's-ever head off with a homemade sword.
I rezzed, came back and they did it again.
Hate them guys. Well actually a girl killed me.
Beach.
