I'm back, again, for now, and maybe for a while :D

Hello everyone. Glad to see the borg still up and running. This place is awesome, it has been awesome. For those of you who don't know me, I started posting here... in 2004? Maybe 2005? Back when I was in college. I was pretty active through early medical school but have dropped off over the past few years. Marriage, Medical School, Residency, and now Fatherhood will do that to a guy. I have lurked for a while, and checked in every now and again.
I wanted to stop in and see who was still around, who was still active, and if anyone here could help me out with some 2nd Edition questions. Thanks!
Attached is a picture of my boy, enjoy!

Hello TSD, I remember you fondly, even though at your active time, I was the lurker. Now I've graduated to DM... my kids are now the age that they've started to play themselves.

Great to see you both still here.
Does anyone know who could point me in the direction of a highly rated 2nd edition AD&D Module that has basic adventuring from 1st to 10th level? Not looking for anything themed towards the underdark, or a particular race. More classic, save the X, defeat the Y, travel the countryside fighting Z and AA. Etc.

The only thing I can really think of is Ruins of Adventure for Forgotten Realms. It can be played with a party of any level, and it's more of a series of adventures loosely tied together. It's rather bland out of the box, though, so it would need some work on the part of the DM to make it more interesting. It's based loosely on the old PC video game, Pool of Radiance.

Thanks Jaded! I think I could spice it up pretty easily. How is life man?

It's an unending parade of depression, isolation and disappointment that I can only survive by running multiple games at once.
*long uncomfortable silence*
*conversationally* And how are you?

Things have been getting progressively busier and busier. Life speeds up, and what is scarier is that the pace of acceleration is itself accelerating.
That said I can't complain. I am well employed, married, have a wonderful son, live down the street from my father, up the street from my grandfather, see my friends frequently, and now am half owner of a gaming store in Champaign IL.
I even get to play sometimes
I am sorry that things have been rough Jaded, I don't remember it being that bad years ago when I frequented this place. Though that may be because I never listened then, or because you never told. I certainly hope things get better.

I was actually just kidding. Well, mostly.
I never really talked about my real life on Planet, though. In fact, I tended to stay away from the non-D&D forums, like the BMP and so forth.
