Summer game (Valckenburg Stories)

I've been asked couldn't I do a summer game? After some thought, I realised I could run the adventure I had written to introduce my kids to roleplaying games.
The setting is close to late medieval Germany, not unlike the world of the Grimm Brothers' fairy tales. It's a rather low-magic world of ordinary people. Humans have one God who is worshipped in churches and monasteries. Dwarves, Elves and Halflings may have their own gods, but little is known about them among humans. Clerics don't cast spells, they work wonders.
First-level characters only, rules as laid out in the PHB, but the accent is on roleplaying, not combat or gaining XP.
We would start on 1st July, and hopefully close the adventure by early September, if everyone posts every other day (well, I'll be away the week when July turns to August, I know I travel a lot).
