Appearance
Octavia has long, curly black hair that she normally wears down naturally. One day she wants to be seen as one of those heroes with their hair blowing in the wind majestically.
She has round, hazel eyes that show her curiosity and excitement towards the world around her. They give away the fact that she is young and naive.
Octavia stands at about 5'5", a little shorter than her mother and older sister. She has more of a full figure, much like her grandmother.
As Octavia is a ranch girl, she wears simple clothing. Usually, she wears a green shirt, brown pants, and a pair of black boots. If it is cold out, she add a black cloak to the ensemble.
Personality
Octavia is a spirited young woman. She is the type of person that tends to act first then think later. This leads to a whole lot of trouble, especially when she gets too excited about something.
Despite the fact that her family is going through difficult times, Octavia is naive to the world around her. She dreams of a life better than what she has, but she has no idea what it will3 take to achieve that goal.
Finally, this young girl has a deep love for her family. Anyone that insults her family or family name will probably get punched in the face. She'll do anything (providing that it isn't against her morals) to defend their honor. In her mind, they are good people that have had a long streak of bad luck.
History
Roland and Lillian Moore were a small, but growing family in the village of Sturnheim. It was the simple life that the couple was going for. They had a young daughter named Aubrey, and they had plans for more young ones when tragedy struck Sturnheim.
A caravan carrying a lot of Sturnheim's gold was taken by what could be only assumed was bandits. A select few from the village decided that they were going to bring these bandits to justice, and Roland happened to be one of the eight that left the village in hopes of returning as big damn heroes.
Sadly, only four of the eight people returned to the village, and they were completely empty handed for their efforts. They were completely changed from the people that they used to be. Roland was one of the four people that died. Details about his death were never given to Lillian.
Now that Lillian was a widow, and the town was failing, she didn't have much of a choice but to return to her family's ranch to raise her little girl. Not only that, but Lillian needed to escape the shame that was placed upon her family after what happened in Sturnheim.
Life on the ranch was difficult, but timed passed and Aubrey grew up into a young woman. She needed up meeting a young man named Lindsey who helped rid the ranch of some nasty pests that were tormenting their crops and animals. Later they married, and needed up having three daughters of their own, Hallie, Octavia, and Sparrow.
Life seemed to grow harder and harder for the newer family as the daughters grew. Each girl had their own chores to do, but Octavia was always the one slacking off so she could go play hero. She loved listening to her grandmother's stories about her grandfather (who was becoming her own personal hero despite the fact that he died). All she could do was hope to be half the hero he was, bring honor to her family, and figure out a way to bring some money into her family so that they didn't all die. She didn't know how she was going to do all of this, but she was going to do it.
