Attached are Blank Character Sheets I'd like you to use, I'll copy some of the details to a single post (much like Jaded does).

Can you pass the sheets to me by email, or if you wish attach the sheet to your private threads.

Character Creation

Core Books, Complete Handbooks and Dungeon/Wilderness Survival Guides can be used
You can use Kits if you wish (Brax has one)

3rd Level, Standard races/classes, any others should be passed to me for approval.
Character Creation: 4d6 Drop lowest, arrange to taste.

Intelligence slots can be used used for Non-Weapon Proficencies
Non-Weapon Proficencies can be taken from any of the books above.

Characters start with:
Standard Starting Money, plus 300gp,
One magical +1 Weapon or armor (Or cloak etc).
One misc item, scroll, potion, wand (give me a suggestion and I'll let you know if its allowed)

Spells/Magic
All wizard start knowing 6 Cantrips and 6 1st level spells, they can know any of the standard Spells without rolling to learn them, anything from the spell compendiums will need a roll.

Cantrips:
All mages can cast 4 Cantrips, and gain an extra Cantrip per level (ie they all know 6 at the moment)
Cantrip includes Detect Magic and Read Magic (as per the PHB), and those listed below from the spell compendiums.

Jenara -- I noticed in the post above it says 3rd level but I remembered reading 2nd somewhere earlier. Should we be at third?

Hi Jenara,

Rogues get to 2nd level at 1250xp but I noticed that Robbo is at 2250xp. It seems a little silly to me that I would that far behind him just in terms of xp. Would you mind if I bumped Searos up to something like 2000xp? It means I hit 3rd relatively soon, but given the way the class tables work, thieves are supposed to anyway.

That sounds fine to me, and yes thieves progress quickly early on!

We'll say 2000xp, or whatever you need for 2nd level.

Jenara -- I'm trying to upload the ranger sheet you sent to me but when I go to do it, i get a little red message that says "extension doc not allowed"

Am I screwing up somewhere? It came over as a Word 97-2003 doc so that's what I re-saved it as.

:?

Doc extensions won't post (not sure why!) you need to make it a zip to get it to upload.

I'm not sure how it works with the cantrips. Do we need to memorize them specifically like the spells, or can we simply cast the allowed number per day, choosing which one at the moment we need them?

They are simple magics, taught to apprentices.
Thus, they can be cast without memorizing, and they have a casting time of one round.

We are talking magic to make life easiler, nothing more, cant hurt, harm or physically hurt another directly.
