Ok, Jaded, asking this for two reasons, both as Admin and as a player.

Can you let me know the following:

Do we need to do more game advertising?
Do we have a start date so we can give players a cut off?

Well, it's been a month now since we first announced the game. In all that time, you, Jenara, are the only person to actually turn in a character sheet to me so far. I had actually intended to start the game by now, but if I had, it would just be you and me.

Do you feel having a clear starting date might encourage the other players to get it into gear? If so, let's go ahead and say November 1st. Although I'm not sure what I'll do if that date comes and goes, and I still only have one character sheet.

Well I've advertised it to my FBook friends, and added a second entry under the post here.

I'm just gonna keep it simple and make a Rogue I think, I am so rusty on 2E and D&D in general, and have been learning 4E.

After today, there will be five days left until I make the first official post. At this time, I have two character sheets:

Locky - Kender Cleric 2/Thief 3 (Jenara)
Shay - Human Thief 3 (BASSsic)

If you sent me a character sheet and your name isn't up there, something must have happened, because I never got it.

If the 1st rolls around, and you still haven't turned in a character sheet, you still can. The game won't begin immediately in the dungeon, but rather I will start it in town, letting the party meet each other and spend a little time roleplaying before setting off. So you'll still have some time before the proper adventure begins.

If you fully intend to turn in a character sheet soon, go ahead and post here and let me know it's coming. If you need some kind of assistance rolling up your character, let me know, maybe I can help. If the big day comes, and it's still only Locky and Shay, I might need to bump up their levels or add a couple of NPCs to the party to balance things out.

I was going to suggest making Locky a full cleric.... she'd be a little more robust?

I'll leave that up to you. It's your character, after all, and I wouldn't want you to change her if you didn't really want to. If you do want to make her a full cleric, just modify her character sheet and resend it to me.

Adaon was going to play a kender thief, wasn't he? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Biggbrad was going to play a Knight, but I never received a character sheet from him.

Yes Adaon was going to play a Kender Thief, two in the same party would have been fun..

All Kender get some thieving skills anyway, so she'd be able to do some stuff, and Clerics of Paladine can use any weapon, so no limits there, would mean she'd be able to heal better, and take more hits herself, i'll amend her soon.

The first IC post will be made tomorrow.

I still only have Shay's and Locky's character sheets so far.

A thief and a cleric... interesting, we'll be just fine! lol...

I'll just carry on regardless, Locky is quite confident she can change the world by herself, although she may need just a Little help!

So it's Day Three and I haven't received any additional character sheets. And BASSsic seems to have disappeared, too.

Should we just continue on or should we wait and see if anyone else shows up?

Basically, I'm happy to carry on, IF you fancy adding a few NPCs, ie why I asked if anyone would be happy to join her? Otherwise she'll go, take a look and wait for anyone else who might join...

So, I am very weak on the Dragonlance setting, is it showing awfully?

Are Kender considered quite uncommon? Shay doesn't really give a damn who/what you are anyway, if you seem trustworthy and hard working.

I assume Locky has some kind of Kender Laser Pistol +2 up her sleeve, thats normal right?
