Gunter whispers to Brax, "Brave one, isn't he?"
His hand strays to the bow across his back and he keeps his distance from Amon and the figure in the chair. Raising his voice so Amon can hear him he asks, "Is it alive?"

Vee enters the room as well, her hands outstretched and her eyes tightly closed, she collide with Gunter. Suddenly she opens her eyes and blushes.
"Ouups! sorry! sorry! what's going on here?"

Searos remains enraptured with his new "magical" broadsword but takes notice when half the party disappears.
"Uhh... did I miss something?"

Amon turns back to face them. "No, dead. Long dead, in fact. Long enough for the flesh to rot from his bones, despite how cold it is in here."

"Yes Master Searos, you did miss something. That corner over there is an illusion, the others passed through it." Kim's voice comes clear and dispassionate, the mage is not looking at the thief, but dividing the attention between cleaning fingernails and watching the door.

"Master Amon is full of surprises.." Brax responds just before Vee bursts in.
The old skeleton is well preserved, despite the age, Amon can't be sure but it appears very old indeed.

Amon looks around with his torch for any other doorways or exits that might lead out of here.

Amon can find no other exits, there are bookshelves filling his vision, along with the table and the items on it, numerous pieces of alchemical equipment are also visible.

"Hmm," Amon murmurs. "Looks like the only place left then is that secret door the girls found."

"Well, is there anything of value to one of you wizards in here? I doubt our friend in the chair will be needing any of this any time soon."

Amon shrugs. "One way to know for sure," he says. He casts Detect Magic and scans the room for any auras he might find.

Amon scans the room, picking up the usual magical aura's from the parties items (including Vee's armor)
The rest of the room is devoid of any magical auras except a small signature coming from the skeletons left hand.

Amon turns back to Gunther and shakes his head. "The only unrecognized aura I sense is coming from the dead gentleman's hand. And considering how often the dead have jumped up and started attacking us recently, I'd rather not try my luck at stealing from him." Glancing to some of the stuff on the table, he adds, "None of this is magical, but most of it looks to be made of gold. It may be of some value."

Gunter nods, looking somewhat disappointed.
"Well, if he died at his desk he must have been dedicated to his work, we should probably let him keep his things. Hopefully it'll mean one less dead wizard attacking us."

"One more skeleton? And you are sure that it's really dead, I mean deadder than the others? Not dancing around, trying to kill us?"
Vee goes to the desk, watching the skeleton closely. pointing at the book in his hands she asks Amon: "what is... was he reading?"
