Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings
I should have ask this the first time. 28 is where he got caught the first time he came to these quarters?
Or are the 24s, the ones he searched? Or He won't know that until he goes around the corner?

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings
[ooc] 28 is the new area he has never been to before today, the Guests' Lounge. In the past he was caught snooping around the Employee Lounge. The side of the hallway opposite the door they just opened is the back of the employee rooms (24), and the lounge is south of that but off the map. Once the hallway is explored a little I'll put up a map that shows that area as well [/ooc]

"Stay here." Pyros whispers to the rest.
Quietly he will sneak around the corner to his right, and take a look.

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings
The Kender creeps carefully to the corner and considers the corridor. His eyes adjust slowly out of the light, until he can see that it appears to dead-end near the front of the building. An odd corner of the wall juts in asymetrically, which is perplexing until he realizes it must the be framed edge of the stairwell leading to the Employee lounge... The walls and floor in this area are dusty but plainly featured

LOL, I just realized the copy of the image has a 2nd Pyros in the bottom right corner room #24 from back when he did his initial exploration
Ignore the doppleganger-pyros pls ^_^

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings
I am assuming he doesn't actually see into the main room surrounded by the bedrooms. He just remembers them? Also it just feels like there are 2 of him, cause he is everywhere.
===================================================
He will come back to the group. "I am pretty sure we are in a secret hallway between the guest quarters and the servant quarters."
Does he see any prints in the dust? Can he hear any conversation?
He intends to sweep by as he quietly informs the group, to check out the other corner.

[Correct, he just remembers being there a day or two ago and based on the size/shape of the building that is whete they must be. It's a little bit to help the players and a little to make map stuff easier on me.
Haha, yeah he gets around
If you want to check the dust for prints, give me a wis-2 check. Lower is better ]
Pyros moves to the opposite corner to find another dead end

!! Wisdom Check(10): [1d20]=7

Are there any obvious springs like the other secret doors?
And does he hear anything?

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings
Pyros takes a few minutes to search for trails through the dust, borrowing the Lantern Airand has . There are no footprints leading down the right (East) corridor, but he does find a vague path on the Left (West) hall. It seems to move to the West-most side of the hall, then to the back corner near where the stairwell must be...
The springs against the wall each attached to a wide panel against the north side. There is a small metal plate attached to a catch mechanism on each of the two springs. Aside from the springs and dust, the corridor is relatively featureless wood paneling

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings
Is there a chance they belong to Haldrake?
That is his goal, finding the big man.
"Tracks leading down this way." I'm assuming they see light springing from an invisible source?
He will go look at the area the prints end, and see if he can find a doorway or passage.

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings
[ooc] There is a chance the trail in the dust is his, for sure. The signs are appropriate for a humanoid sized person but they aren't clear enough to say much more really. The dust is fairly minimal so even finding anything was a good. Yes the others can see the light effect of pyros holding the lantern but not Pyros or the lantern itself ]

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings
Pyros moves to the end of the hall and searches but he doesn't find anything
Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings
Does the path lead to another area?
=================================
Confused, Pyros tries to follow the path again.

[The 'path' roughly follows the blue line. He searched at the bottom end but didn't find anything.]
Jerry moves forward, Can you show me where this path is?

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings
"Yes, of course!" He will shine the light on the path and point it out.
Following more closely, he will search where the path ends.
