Mira sings softly, the sounds of crows appears in return.

"Well, I dreamt I saw you walking, Up a hillside in the snow, Casting shadows on the winter sky, As you stood there counting crows.."

Cantrip: Cantrips [1d20] = 7 Pass.

"Ok, so we need to get their attention, obviously they aren't used to coming out during the day." Rubbing her temple she grins, "Can you help me make some noise to attract some attention, use a cantrip to make barking dogs." She moves to the north a little way, still clutching Merricks hand and casting a cantrip away from her.

"Call the dogs, call the howls, call the dogs hear the growl." she sings.

Cantrips [1d20] = 20 Can you Critcally fail a Cantrip?

Mira hears the crow sound and returns the signal with a cantrip. She and Merrick then begin cantrips to create the sounds of dogs barking. The half-elf's words so close to her own throw the bard off and she skips a step in the spell. Suddenly her mind rings like a struck bell and she has to take a moment to clear her head.

Merrick's cantrip works appropriately, and the noise of barking dogs begims. Are you ok? What was that? he whispers. Look! Something moved the curtain upstairs! I can't see whst it is, though...

Jerry finds a third stone on the ground to replace the one she used yesterday and says her prayer over the three rocks. They glow for a moment before returning to a normal appearance; the spell obviously working.

====
Merrick, cantrip at farm [1d20] = 11,
pass

Jerry casts Magical Stone

Mira lost 1 round of action. Only she and Merrick are in position to see the window curtain that moved.

"Ouch!" She calls in a harsh whisper, "I've never tried casting a spell that way right next to someone else before. It was like someone chimed a church bell on my head." She grasps her temples in agony for a moment. "Someone's up there. Whoever they are, the trail leads here.. We should have brought a dead wolf."

"We need to tell the others, can you get Cross? He should be able to create something to attract them.. my head still hurts."

cross shrugs "i could create the illusion of say a fire at the back door hoping it forces them out the front but it could backfire if they call the bluff"

Merrick nods, though mira can't see it. Are you staying here then? he asks.

[Once she answers, merrick moves bact towards cross, jerry and Elsa. Then he tells Mira's plan to cross who replies with the above post]

Fire is tricky, he says. He might be able to tell there is no heat that close, spoiling the illusion...

Mira keeps her postion and watches the curtains with interest, getting ready.

(If she hears a song from the house she will try to counter it)

Am I correct in assuming that the reference to someone moving the curtain to look out the window is the window facing Mira & co. and not Artanis and Pyros?

Thanks. Artanis is planning to make a dash for the door on the left (west) side, but he would not have done it if someone were watching.

Artanis whispers to Pyros: "I'm going to make a dash for the door. Can you pick open locks?" He gives his buddy a grin.

Artanis grins and replies: "I knew a girl named Sallie. Sallie Port. She lived in a gated community. I'll dash first and if the way is clear wave you on over. Sound good?"

Artanis prepares to dash over... suddenly the curtains upstairs in the north window move slightly. A moment later those facing East do. They move back before long. [Only Pyros and Artanis see this]

Pyros quickly pulls on Artanis' sleeve so he won't go bolting into an ambush.
