Garroth shoulders his bow, puts his arrow away and approaches with open hands..

"You Handel?" The Cat woman asks in a mishmash of broken common and drawn out vowels, the word is unfamliar. "The Short Tubby ones in Village might be interested in trade, if you are a Trader." Slowly her words become more Elven in structure, returning her Bow and arrow to the quiver, she leaves the dagger in her paw. "I hope you take only what the Forest wants to give."

Linar continues covering until Nesserrr's dagger gets re-sheathed.

feeling like the attention is off of him elden puts down his arms "so i was told i could find a ranger named Sigma or Sijna... or was it Signa around here? i wanted to help with the goblin problem any of you know where i could find him?"

Boyd continues to purposely not stare at the odd group in front of him. And he's really working hard to figure out if a cat is actually speaking to him.

He is acutely aware of how precarious this situation is for him: he's greatly outnumbered, and the group is heavily armed. If this should happen to turn ugly...

In the elf's question, though, he finds something useful. Something he knows how to respond to: sarcasm, and a veiled accusation that he is being untruthful.

"You got something on your mind, Sunshine?" he asks Nocturno, his eyes narrowing.

"I asked you a question." Katten retracts her claws, her deep eyes fixing on the Dwarf.

Sigh "It just seemed odd that this human was coming to the end of the bridge, and you appeared. On such an impressive mount yet. Does it have a name?"

"Seems odd that you all arrived here at the same moment, does it not?" Boyd sits in the saddle, shoulders back, chin forward, inviting a response.
"And of course he has a name. Perhaps if you come down her and ask him real nice, he will tell you."

[OOC] He's not ignoring Katten. He just doesn't know how to deal with a talking cat, and needs a moment to absorb the concept. [/OOC]

Garroth arrives up front, after slowly walking across the bridge..

"Hello! I'm Garroth.. Did I hear that you are here to discourage the goblin scourge? Well... Can't say I've met many dwarves before, but seems to me another pair of hands and she's can only be a good thing? I warn you though... don't get between me and any Orcs we see.. I really hate their green skinned monsters..."

"Strange Short one." Katten shrugs and moves off into the undergrowth slightly, Dran hot on her heels, she traces the tracks before her following the Goblins path.

Watching the Feliz up and walk away catches Nocturno off guard. "Uh, it looks like she has picked up the trail. We should probably follow."

As an after thought: "Yes, odd... today has already been quite odd..." he will then move to make sure he keeps Katten in sight.

"If you are looking for live goblins, you are going the wrong way. The ones over that way are dead," Boyd calls out. "I can show you where."

Van will give a slight chuckle to the "Sunshine' comment.

To the rest of it, he will say, supporting Garroth, "Hear hear! We all have a common enemy, why trade barbs and mistrust among ourselves?" To his group, "We do look like a proper band of rogues when we advance on a person with weapns drawn and words withheld. Mayhaps we should be more welcoming...Good dwarf, would you recon we could have made a better show of a peaceful start?"
