Without giving the kobold she killed another thought, Kendra turns her attention to the one that just stepped into the light (#8). She closes the distant between the two of them quickly, and attacks.

Haahqae, grins widely when he sees his bullet sink into the kobold's skull, figuring his strategy is a winning one he slinks further into the shadows in the corner, then unleashes another bullet at the most promising target he can see.

(ooc: Haahqae moves back into the corner and slings another bullet at kobold slasher 05, does that count as shooting into combat?

Initiative roll: 1d10=5
(Can you apply modifiers please, I'm not sure how they are derived yet)

Gregeddin skids to a stop behind Sinclair and Bear. For a moment he looks dumbly at the decapitated creature at Sinclair's feet.

The fight coming back into the focus of his mind he spots a demon (number 8 ) to the north, and hurls his original torch at the monster.
Edit: Attack roll for throwing: 1d20=8

He dashes after his torch, drawing his broad sword, and levels it with the kobold's head once they are adjacent.

"Is it you that would be our shepherd? Your kinsmen could use some pointers" Gregeddin goads looking down his sword.

Having avoided the kobold's club by the barest of margins, Darga knows he's fighting for his life. Snarling in grim determination, he lashes out again, hoping to finish his foe before his luck runs out. But even if he does, he knows that the fight is just beginning. From the corner of his eyes, he sees his companions fighting for their lives against other shadowy figures, and that there are many more shadows than there are his friends.

(OOC: Darga is attacking Kobold Basher 4 again. His initiative is 10 (roll of 6 + 4), and his attack roll is 16, good enough to hit an AC of 4. Assuming that this hits, his damage roll is 5. Not bad!)

A kobold with an axe approaches Kynaston, striking at him while he is still vulnerable in the darkness. However, the blow is sloppy and simply skirts off the man's brigandine armor. Haahqae attempts to come to the rescue by slinging a stone at the slasher, but the shot is too wide and simply clatters against the wall instead.

"Ki-yah!" Coroccoco cries as she slams her fist into her opponent's neck. There's an audible crack, and the creature, gagging, falls over, clutching at his throat until he falls still.

Gregeddin throws his torch at one of the kobolds. It misses, but when it lands at the creature's feet, it illuminates the immediate area. Unfortunately, the bard did not notice another kobold approaching him. Armed with a sword, it stabs him in the side of the torso; thankfully it misses any vital organs, but it causes considerable pain. Kendra quickly moves forward, leaving the lantern light but entering the fallen torch light, and she kills the kobold Gregeddin just blinded with a single swipe of her blade.

A pair of kobolds attempt to gang up on Bear, one of them piercing his defenses and stabbing him with its spear. Snarling, Bear says, "You're pissing me off! You won't like me when I'm pissed off!" He immediately decapitates one kobold, then turns and takes out a second one with similar ease.

Darga manages to strike his own opponent with enough force to crack its neck, killing it. Meanwhile, Haahqae suddenly finds himself beset upon by one of the bashers. He quickly dances aside to avoid the creature's bumpy club.

Darga looks in disbelief at first the kobold, dead at his feet, and then at his quarterstaff. But he soon shakes off his surprise at his ability. Looking up, he scans the area for the next threat--he knows that there are two kobolds out there, far more than just the one he killed. He spots the one to his left, but as he looks further, he notices that one of the creatures is attacking the big swordsman. Without the benefit of dwarven blood, the man seems to be having a hard time without light, while the kobold has no apparent trouble with the darkness.

Although he fears to turn his back on the kobold to his left, Darga knows he can't just let the swordsman get cut down in the dark. Hefting his walking stick again, he hurries over to assist the man.

(OOC: Assuming he can get there this round, Darga will attack Kobold Slasher 05. His initiative is 6, and his attack roll is 16. Assuming he hits, he does 5 points of damage.)

Gregeddin croaks something unintelligible in surprise. He notes how peculiar it is that some parts of his body feel rather hot, and yet his forehead and hands seem strangely cold.
He straightens and swivels to face this new foe "In comparison, your sword is plenty pointy already". He exhales heavily as he attempts to bring his broadsword clattering down upon the kobold.

Though initially distracted by the allies in front of his and the general chaos, Kynaston finally clues in just in time to forcefully separate his attacker and their esophagus- by means of battle-axe.

Darga moves to aid Kynaston, filled with an adrenaline born of both fear and anger. He slams the kobold in the back of the head with his staff hard, stunning it. Before it can recover, Kynaston finally leaps into action and decapitates the creature with one fell swing of his axe.

Gregeddin, still bleeding from his injury, manages to not only deflect an attack with his blade, but then cut down the offending kobold for good.

Kendra suddenly finds herself nearly surrounded, as several kobolds gather around her. However, she quickly cuts down one. One actually manages to pierce her defenses, but only scores a light scratch against her. Coroccoco comes up behind one of her attackers and with a nasty uppercut, lays it out.

Haahqae's opponent, meanwhile, swings his club at the gnome's head. Had he been slower to react, this likely would have spelled an end to Haahqae's adventures. Luckily, he has lightning reflexes and manages to duck in time. He then slings another stone at close range, braining the kobold. It drops dead to the ground.

By this point, only three of the kobolds remain. They quickly start panicking, eying exits and preparing to flee.

Tasting victory and still surprised at his own competence, Haahqae pokes at the kobold in front of him to make sure it's actually dead. Once he's satisfied, he lets out a "Yipee!" and hops down onto it's body then to the ground, an ideal place to search around the bodies of the fallen for his bullets.

(ooc: Haahqae begins searching the bodies of the kobolds for his sling bullets, but also for any other interesting trinkets. He would be most impressed if they have paper/writing of any kind.)

Darga raises his walking stick again and looks about for the next kobold. Only slowly does he realize that the tide of battle has turned, and that only a few kobolds remain standing. Even these seem to have had enough and are fleeing. While keeping an eye open for any who might attack him as they flee, he turns his attention to his companions. All still seem to be alive, although a few look as if they've been wounded.

(OOC: Unless one of the remaining kobolds decide to flee past Darga, he'll try to decide on whether any of his companions are in danger of imminent death from their wounds. It's not that he can do much to help, but perhaps if he notices, he can let someone who can help know.)

Gregeddin spots some of the creatures over by Bear.
Rather than engage them, he decides to throw his remaining torch at Kobold 15. Hoping to distract it and help light Bear's pursuit.
Once thrown he stays where he is, sword ready. The temperatures around his body feel all jumbled up, which begins to concern him a little, but he reasons he must not let it show - These beasts could still try something funny.
