Hazel (Jenara) Private thread.

[Korgen]

2 kids run down the street chasing a ball, laughing as they did. The first kids to appear since Hazel arrived in town. The dusty road led both north and south. The sun was still alittle low in the sky.

[Jenara]

"Time to hit the road.." Turning she enters the stables, saddles up Night while stroking her mane softly. Putting the new provisions in her saddle bag, she buckles it on and adds her bedroll to the saddle.

"We ride Northeast," Her tone is serious as she pulls herself onto the saddle.

[Korgen]

As Hazel rides outs of town, Gelpas can be seen from a window watching.

The wilderness is vast and empty. Just dirl and rocks as far as the eyes can see.

[Jenara]

Setting Night towards the Northeast, navigating by the sun, (Survival 16+1 = 17).

She turns back, giving him a little nod, before riding at a reasonable pace.

[Korgen]

Hazel heads towards her destination. About 2 hours into her travel, the sound of a crying women can be heard in the distance. The landscape is alittle more green here, a few trees dot the land.

[Jenara]

Crying women were not her major concern, if they had a problem it was their problem to make it right. However they were coming from the direction she was traveling...

Slowing Night to a Canter she heads towards the noise.

[Korgen]

The crying was rather loud indeed. Coming over a small hill, a women cried onto a man's chest. A closer look would surely give details. The women looked up to Hazel, seeming afraid.

[Jenara]

Hazel rides over the brow of the hill, the sunlight in her eyes she can't make out the details, she can however hear the voices. Hand on her weapon she rides cautiously closer.

The woman cries in both sorrow and fear. As she moves the body abit, the sound of snapping wood could be heard.

[Jenara]

Drawing her bow, Hazel steadies herself with her knees and rides in closer, scanning the area once more.

Placing a finger to her lips she looks closely.

[Korgen]

As Hazel closes in, she sees blood dripping from the clearly dead man. The woman's chest and hands were covered in blood aswell. An arrow was sticking out of the man's chest. The distict imagine of a bow's tip was visible behind a large rock.

[Jenara]

"Drop it!" She shouts, "Drop the weapon!" She repeats slipping off Night, her own bow aimed directly at the rock.

[Korgen]

An arrow flies by Hazel's head as the man jumps into full few. He quickly grabs another arrow while stationing himself behind the rock for cover.

[Jenara]

Without a word Hazel notches an arrow, jumps on the rock and lets it fly.

The man's ribcage is pierced, his arrow falls to the ground with him. A dagger flies past Hazel, destined to the distance Hazel faced. (The dagger flew from behind her to infront of her) The swearing of a woman could be heard.
