Artanis Auir

Artanis stands, stretches and decides it's time to retire to his room for the night. He has to clean his weapons and have his devotions for the night as well. "Well gents, time for this fellow to retire for the night. I'm going back to my room. I will most likely catch up to you in the morning."

Artanis makes his way back to the privacy of his room, where he cleans off and oils his weapons as well as washing himself off. After his devotions he kicks back onto the bed and reflects on the events of the past day. He certainly has no idea or concept of how he ended up in this place. But he is not one to wallow in self pity, and determines to make the best of it. Move forward. Tomorrow he'll pick up that silvered longsword from John and practice with it as his off hand weapon. He really needs to learn some of the language, then he may be able to get work. And of course, he'll find time to go fishing.

Cross waves him back to his room before realizing he hasn't found a place to sleep him self and heads of to the inn to find a place to stay

Artanis, Cross: Wayfarer's Rest
Artanis arrives at the inn and begins to head up the stairs as Cross enters. The elf realizes he doesn't have a room and recalls all of the others are sharing except the Ranger, who has just acquired his room today.

Cal, Merrick: The Green
So... with all of the talk today, I don't remember if I heard how you got here? Merrick asks, somewhat out of the blue. You mentioned a big cat of some kind, but not much else... how exactly did you get here?

Elsa, Pyros: The Crystal Club
Pyros does his best to make his way down the hall to the stage, but previous performers and other patrons are packed tightly around the entrance. A few give him small smiles as if he were a curious child looking dor the source of the music, but it is clear they will not let him pass. Several other passages branch into different side rooms...

Artanis motions for Cross to follow him to the room. "Plenty of space in my room, if you need a place to stay. Just having a roof over my head is a luxury." The ranger quips with a smile.

"Well I guess I am not going to be getting in there. I don't really want to cause too much trouble. I'm sure Lady Bard would get an ear full." This will be said to Elsa after he tries one more time to hide in shadows(If any) to get past the crowd.

cross will thank Artanis "thank you kindly i'm a bit of a flake some times. iv slept out doors more than once because i forgot to get a room until it was to late" once there in the room cross will study up for tomorrow memorizing Phantasmal Force, Burning Hands and Invisibility then go to bed

Artanis, Cross: Wayfarer's Rest
The room has a single bed, a small bedstand, a window with thick wooden shutters closed, and a trunk for one's belongings. There is enough room in the floor to lie down comfortably.


Elsa, Pyros: The Crystal Club
Pyros tries to conceal himself, but with so many people around it prooves impossible. Do you want to explore some of the othee chambers? Perhaps you could try this passage again some other night when it's less crowded. Elsa offers.

"Sure let's have a night cap, and check out the place. Then off to bed!" Pyros rubs his shoulder when thinking about sleeping in those strangling sheets again.

The evening wears on pleasantly for all. Artanis and Cross get to bed early, both having come to this unusual land only today. Strange and confused thoughts fill their heads as they drift to sleep, but there is some comfort in knowing that others have experienced the same odd phenomenon. Perhaps the way home can be puzzled out… if this is indeed reality and not some fever-dream…

Pyros and Elsa spend time exploring the Crystal club, there are dozens of rooms and chambers and passages; including a room that is completely flooded with red light in which a group of people were having some kind of private party. The passages are so complex and unusual that the small folk almost have to ask for directions out, but they eventually make their way to the entrance. By this time it is quite late and they head back to the green. Merrick and Cal, having enjoyed the music, walk back to the inn with them for the night. Merrick bids them evening and heads off to his own lodgings. The small folk proceed upstairs, where Elsa and Pyros share a private moment at the door. Cal, not really wanting to watch the interaction, is the first to enter the boy’s room. Mcwhiskers emerges from his hiding place and burrows under the covers with he Gnome. It appears Yasir has yet to return, but he seems like the night-owl type anyway. A few minutes later Pyros comes in and flops down on the warrior’s bed. The two drift off to sleep to thoughts of the same lady…
