[I’ll get a decent map going for the next round. Chris, let me know if you prefer a different img for Jerry’s Father]
The Broken Wheel (int): (Mira, Jerry, Merrick, Kybalion, Esker, Iscind, Elsa, Pyros)
Pyros hobbles across the room to the base of the stairs, followed closely by Kybalion, and Jerry applies one final protection before moving forward. At the Mystran's suggestion, Elsa does the same; calling down a Protection from Evil on Airand beside her. Jerry and Merrick move up stairs as well. Elsa allows Airand the other fighters who wish to the room to go ahead of her, then follows. In the Kitchen, Mira consoles the distraught Sabrina, who squints back tears and nods, clutching at the bard as if she meant never to let go.
Up stairs, the body of the younger son lies in a bloody heap in the middle of the hallway. At the far end a man with a deathly pale complexion and dimly glowing yellow eyes grins at the group as they clambor up the stairs. His long brown hair is swept back and falls to his shoulders atop a crimson cloak with a harp-shaped clasp.
Well well well... we have our first volunteers, Ah! There is my lovely daughter... ooh, and is This your new young man? Hmm... It seems my little Jerry Berry has been 'making the beast with two backs'. He chuckles evilly.
I'll save him for last... I have something special in mind. With that He kicks the wooden door beside him [to Cross/Pyros' room] but the lock holds! With a curious glance and a shrug, he instead unlatches the hall window and throws open the shutters.
Behind the Broken Wheel: (Sir Karl, Cross, Gregor)
As the three exit the barn, there is no sign of their allies or their enemy. Then, a moment later, the window to the back side of the inn opens at an angle away from them; no way to tell from here who precisely opened it...

"Good ol Locky!" Pyros chuckles.
If he can fire a stone, he will.
Yelling.

Kybalion laying eyes on this 'thing' for the first time remarks: "Have you no sense of honor or decency? All of this bloodshed seems to me the act of one that is no more than a petulant child! You were most likely unloved as a child and now find yourself in eternal torment of being unloved for far, far longer. Your actions are of a fool. You took much life and for no gain. Had I the power, I would call the wrath of Mystra and all the other gods down upon your head for the profane ways you have acted. I see you crave attention but you will never receive it the way you want it. Again, the actions of a fool. May Beshaba grace you with a cruel kiss dead square in the crack of your backside and Loviatar embrace your loins. Helm and Torm guide us as we face this mockery of life!!"

"Weapons at the ready. We know not what is coming, but we should prepare." Karl holds his ground, "Sir Lorvel once wrote, when you allow an enemy to lead you, you have already lost. We must get it to come to us, or we will always be chasing." He states stroking his mustache.
"If you have something that might hold this, it would be useful." He notes to Cross, magic was perhaps useful after all.

The Broken Wheel (int): (Mira, Jerry, Merrick, Kybalion, Esker, Iscind, Elsa, Pyros)
Kybalion shouts his recriminations at the undead abomination, but the words seem only to elicit a wry smirk from the creature. Merrick swiftly recites a spell and a trio of magical missiles jet forth from his pointed finger. The bolts of force slam into the monstrosity, which snarls in response,
I’m saving you for last little one. Do not tempt me to butcher you first! Run and hide while you can. Pyros hobbles up the stairs and hurls a rock at Jerry’s father, but the shot slams into a vase on a nearby stand; shattering it. With amusement The creature reaches through the window to the wall outside and begins to climb down.
Oh look… a couple of your friends are outside still… all alone… Well not for long. He taunts them as he climbs down.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen area, Mira positions herself in front of Sabrina. The bards eyes cast back and forth between the doors, looking for any sign of the undead horror hunting them. Esker and Iscind likewise watch the entrances to see which direction the slippery foe might appear from.
Behind the Broken Wheel: (Sir Karl, Cross, Gregor)
Cross shakes his head,
I have no magic that can hold such a creature, but perhaps I can give us a little edge in an ambush… Speaking an illusory incantation, Cross touches the Knight’s shoulder; causing Karl to vanish from view.
Just in time, I think. We have a visitor it seems… he mutters as the three see a figure climb out of the window and scale the wall like a spider. The pale man, arms soaked in blood, begins to stride purposefully towards them, a grin of pure wickedness on his face.
It must be just awful to feel so alone… it seems you will get to be the first to die. Victims of your useless compassion. He practically spits the last word.
Gregor fumbles in his pack to retrieve an oil flask and a rag, stuffing it into the mouth of the flask.
How long do you think you can hold him off? he mutters to Cross.

Pyros will lean out the window and throw another stone.
Throw, Dmg [1d20]=5 [2d4]=5
He will hurl a few insults out the window as well, hoping to infuriate the undead monster.(Kender taunt?)
"You're just upset that Jerry is a better good person, than you are at being evil. Killing a few Peasants, and frightened townfolk. You're about as evil as a rabid skunk."

Kybalion, seeing the coward crawl out the window, looks around for an oil lamp in the area. (being that it is night, hoping the lamp is lit) If so he will race with it to the window.

Perhaps the ale is making me too slow and fat, Esker thinks as he sees the foul creature leave by window's ledge before he can act, so he turns and dashes back the way he came hoping to reach the area the creature has escaped to below.

(assuming Karl doesn't know he is invisible, and he has had no experience of being so..)
Karl ponders what the Wizard has said, give them an edge? Perhaps he was as super strong now? That would be a bonus.
He waits, sword raised, ready to face this creature head on, his place in the world, the Oath, and the Measure demanded he fight this evil..
(Karl will strike the moment the creature gets within range, the creature had struck already, it had no honour, thus it did not deserve any quarter).

"We need to get everyone safe, Sabrina, sweetie. We need to help the people here, if they stay together I might be able to protect them." Mira explains in a soft voice, aware her friends were fighting outside, but these people didn't deserve to be treated like cattle going to the slaughter.
(Mira will get everyone in the inn together in the commons..)
