Unbar has a warhammer in hand and a hand axe hanging from a belt loop. I can throw this axe I suppose. But then I wouldn't have an axe. I have a simple little spell that works at a bit of a range that can hurt. Hurts em more if they are already feeling some pain. Fair warning though... it's not all that quiet. A kind of mournful bell sound.

Isaril looks blankly at Unbar and Val while equipping his shoirtbow.
What next?

Each of the two drawbridge watchtowers has a closed wooden door.
The villay square has some pits that vary from three to eight feet across.

Val heads to the tower on the left. Listens at the door. Does he notice or hear anything?
perception:
[1d20+2] = 17+2 = 19
If he finds or hears nothing he will open the door and look inside.
"We are definitely not that well equipped to fight at range but let's do our best. I except great things from you Vic and Isaril." With a little smile on his face.

Isaril glances blankly at Val on hearing him speak but then moves to cover his back when the large fellow moves to a tower door. The tower is 20' tall with a roof enclosed by crenelated battlements.
Hearing nothing at the more northern of the pair of doors, Val opens it and looks inside to reveal an empty space with wooden ladder that leads upwards to a trapdoor.
As Val disappears into the tower, Isaril whispers to Vic in elven, "If we end up working in pairs, I should be with you."

Val peaks back out and says, "it's all clear." "Are any of you very stealthy? I say we got through that trap door up the stairs to see if we can get a view of the village. Any indication where these goblins are hiding.

Isaril doesn't say anything.
The group have seen that the elf has a soft footfall.

Responding to Val's question, Unbar speaks up. "Stealthy?" Looking down at his heavily armored body and the large shield he has in hand, he directs his gaze back at Val. "Not so much. Not at all really."

Val moves towards the trap door as he climbs up the ladder. Is there a latch on the door? Does it open into the upper Floor?

While Val disappears into the more northern of the pair of watchtowers, what is everyone else doing?

Val will listen at the trap door. Perception check:
[1d20+2] = 5+2 = 7

Val doesn't hear anything above his breathing and the bell.

Vic looks to Val and Unbar. "Make sure no one comes in." In elven: "Care to join me in a bit of scouting?" He points to the trap door. Vic will wait to see what Val does on the ladder.
