Anyone else going to move forward? I hope the other people are still with us.

LoL! Sorry about the confusion! I thought Mathias was yelling down the stairwell at the girls. =P
I've been trying to keep Saul close to Chris since the two are traveling companions.

Well Mathias is sort of speaking at a normal/slightly above normal tone. Not a particularly subtle man ^^;

Are we waiting on Stik here?
I need a decision from you players, do you open the trapdoor, do you check the upper storey, or do you open any of the building's doors to get some light?
We have been going light on inventories, but since no one mentioned packing, I'll rule that there are a few torches in Apollo's saddle bags.
Oh, and I need to know which spells Matthias has prepared for the day (I might have missed the post, if there was one).

Hey Breila. I've been tending to wait for the other members a bit, maybe too much, in my posting ^^; Matthias memorized Phantasmal Force this morning, figured that would be a very appropriate spell for someone trying to not openly do magic (and very flexibly creative!).
I certainly don't think the apothecary would carry torches unfortunately.

Sorry if I've held you all up. I worked 11 to 12 hour days all this week. This is a good thing, because having a lot of work to do means the company is doing well. It does cut into my hobby time, though.

What do you all think? Should we go at a leisurely pace and allow for people's busy lives, or should I NPC characters if the player hasn't posted after 4 days?

I tend to NPC someone's character only if I know in advance that they are going to be out of touch. But that's probably why Borderlands moves so slowly.
I would suggest a 3-day "Shot Clock". If you don't post for three days, the game moves along without your input. If there is a situation that demands some specific action (combat or the like), the DM will NPC the character. Otherwise, the PC just goes along with whatever the rest of the party is doing.

Folks, your roleplay is great, but perhaps you should not just post dialogues, but also actions? We're not getting anywhere...

Both Dale and Thelma will go through the trap door.
I'll try to post actions more.
