CH. 5: The Sending is Coming from Inside the House

[Nuke]

Val laughs at the drunken antics, but chooses not to eggs her on.

"He would be a good donor. Strong, tall and some brain."

[Jenara]

"Donor? Donor!" Arei raises her voice, "Have you never heard of love?" Giggling she rolls over, "I wasssh in love oncesh... Gave him everything, my maiden... Maiden... You know my thing?" She pats her tummy, "He ussehed me, was a bad bad man.."

Jocelyn raises an eyebrow at Areilon's antics. "He is handsome, but I doubt he is going to want much from a woman in awhile," she said before turning to Ouragana. "Um, followers of Octhanus are incouraged to have relationships, and we are required to get married at some point. Thankfully, that is pretty far off for me."

[Jenara]

"That's why.... Thaassts why I wait." Arei comments her head resting in the half orcs lap. "Your lumpy." She giggles.

[Breila]

"Thankfully?" Ouragana asks Jocelyn. "Don't you like the idea of having someone who cares for you?"

[HorizonsDream]

"Well, it isn't that really," Jocelyn says. "It is nice to have someone care about you. I've only had one person care about me, at least in a romantic sense, and he died."

[Breila]

"Oh" Ouragana answers, "I'm sorry to hear that." Then she goes silent, not really knowing what to say.

She drinks the rest of her ale, then yawns. "Areilon, Val, have you finished your ale, then?" she asks. "It is late, let us sleep."

[Jenara]

"Hurts..." Arei mumbles, "Love hurts... You give everything.." focusing on the mages words she adds. "I don't wanna sl-" with that she passes out in Vals lap.

[HorizonsDream]

"Hmmm," Jocelyn says with a nod towards Ouragana. "I am going to head back to my room," she says as she lays her glass down and walks out.

[Breila]

Seeing Val and Areilon on the bed, Ouragana says to the amazon: "You two can have the bed, I'll spread my bedroll on the floor."

The following morning, the party awakens refreshed. Even Areilon slept long enough to heal from the effects of her drunkenness. Noah, naturally, sleeps in.

The common area is surprisingly empty this morning. Frisno and Hubert are having breakfast together and Pearl is brushing her hair while looking out the window. The waiter from last night is the only employee on duty. Aside from that, the place is deserted.

[Jenara]

Rising from the bed Arei washes up without a care, ignoring the other two women she splashes herself with water and dresses in silence.

Strapping on her blade she heads downstairs, arriving in the common room with a grin.

[Breila]

Ouragana wakes as Areilon closes the door. She too washes up and dresses. Since she's not very hungry, she has a look at her spellbook and tries to imagine useful ways to employ the spells she knows. She finally decides to learn Dancing Lights, which might come in useful to distract someone.

That done, she walks downstairs for some breakfast.

Val wakes as well. choosing to dress in silence as well. Leaving some her heavier gear in the room, she walks down stairs with naught but a dagger to defend herself.

Jocelyn wakes up, prays, and then makes her way down to the common room. She seems to have a purpose in mind as she approaches the waiter that helped them last night. "Which room belongs to Brock?" she asks. "I would like to try to speak with him."
