"Of course the captain will wait for us. He cannot get paid otherwise," Dalaim says.

"I will wait." Arei throws her pack back on her bunk and gives the cleric a glance. "I will let you explain to the captain."

Jocelyn looks to the elf with a raised eyebrow before she just shakes her head and turns to the others. "Well, as it has been pointed out, there are a few of us that can see in the dark," she says. "We all go together, but those that can see in the dark should take the lead, perhaps scout ahead to find a safe spot for us to rest for the night. No matter how we look at this, we are still going to need rest," she pointed out. "I'm still for staying on the ship until morning. When we wake up tomorrow, we will be well rested and ready to explore this place. Either way we look at it, we still got to rest," she pointed out. "If we do it on the shore, we risk the chance of being killed in our sleep or captured even if we set up a watch."

"Well, let us see if we can get rested and ready before dawn, we should at least be able to make the trip before dawn and be ready on shore to explore." Val returns to her bunk to round up and pack her gear.

"Good idea" Ouragana comments after Val's departure. To get ready herself, she throws her dagger high into the air and immediately casts "feather fall" to let it glide back into her hands. Then she retires to pack her things and sleep. The spellbook is topmost so that in the morning, she can study "dancing lights" before they set out.

"Dawn sounds like a good compromise." Arei admits, "I am just excited being back on ship, I will talk to the Captain and then take some rest.

With that decided, the captain has the ship anchor and sets a watch while the party gets some rest. They awaken a couple of hours before dawn and make preparations, learning new spells and stowing their gear for the trip.

It is now Agate 20, at 4:00 AM. The sun has not yet risen, so the party has a couple of hours before then.

Anyone else who wants to swap spells can do so at this time.

Val helps the crew with the boat, exited to get going. Stowing her gear, she takes a comfortable seat at an oar and waits to get underway.

Dalaim, likewise, eagerly boards the row boat. Despite his age, he has the demeanor of a child who is about to open his Yuleday gifts.

Noah, on the other hand, simply watches the others board sleepily. "Well, good luck with that whole cursed island thing. If you need some healing, just row on back and I'll take a look at you," he says before yawning and stretching.

(Arei wanted to talk to the captain)

Jocelyn looks over to Noah before she leaves. "Not going to join us, hmm? Not even to make sure your ward stays safe?" she asks as if she was teasing him.

Taking up her gear Arei, heads to the captain, giving him a nod.

"Captain, you appear to have issues over this place, would you care to share you worries?" she asks, looking back out to sea.

Dahn collects his gear and heads to the row boat.
When he gets there he jumps up and down,"Let's go! Let's go!"

Ouragana gathers her belongings after studying her spellbook by any lamplight available, then enters the row boat as well. For a moment she thinks about scalding Dahn for making such a ruckus, but then decides she's too tired for it.
