Babushka sits down at Imani's table, nodding in greeting to the men and ogre she is talking to. If the innkeeper approaches her, she will order the same food as Imani.

"I will do so." Jerrard returns the hug enthusiastically, something told him this was unwise, but brain Told him it was wrong to keep another like that. The one they just left behind ringing in his brain. "Until later then." he kisses her hand once more and excuses himself. Returning to his room.

The innkeeper brings the same breakfast to Babushka (and Locky, as well, unless she specifically says otherwise) after they join Imani.

Around the same time, Ulster steps out, as well. Having cleaned himself up, he joins the girls, too, and orders the same breakfast with them.

"I don't know if I'll ever get used to the food around here," he says. "Still, loads better than iron rations."

Jerrard, meanwhile, returns to his room alone.

"Do you know there are other Kender here?" Locky comments as she takes a bite of her food, "And the people at the Brothel are REALLY mean, you know they don't like Kender? They asked me to leave." She frowns, between bites. "Have any of you Been to a Brothel?"

"Don't most places not like kender?" Ulster asks. "Err, uh...I mean, no offense," he adds.

"Anyway, there are some brothels in Shrentak. Thuskar was always bugging me to go with him to one, but, uh...I'm not really comfortable in places like that," he says, looking down at his plate to hide the pinking of his cheeks.

"That marks you as a very fine man" Babushka tells Ulster quietly before tugging into her breakfast.

"Yes, its strange how no one likes us Kender? I wish I knew what we do to be treated like this..." She comments slipping her cutlery in her pouches when she finishes. "But Kender are not supposed to be in such a place, I mean it seems like people do things to them, how horrible."

"Yeah..," Ulster says sullenly. "A fine, lonely, boring man. Oh, hey! These meat pie things are pretty good," he says, brightening suddenly.

He shrugs at Locky. "Guess kender have to make money, too. Although...ew...that's not a mental image I want to have while eating breakfast."

==========

Locky pockets her cutlery and leaves behind (1d100): 64, a gaudy gorget in their place.

"It was not nice to hear." Locky replies totally lost about what Ulster is talking about. "So what are we doing? How are we going to do this?"

Jerrard sits quietly in his room for a few minutes, trying to regain his composure, who was that woman? Really, he barely knew her, yet..

Packing up his spellbook once more he slips it in a pouch and heads to the common room, a curious look on his face.

"That feels better." He comments as he arrives, seeing the much cleaner group and the almost presentable Locky. Moving near to Imani he smiles, "Tell me what do you know of the Mikku?" He asks curiously, contemplating breakfast.

Imani had finally went about eating her food quietly once everyone started to show up. She decided not to get involved with the kender conversation, as she was actually thinking along the same lines as Ulster. Though, she did give Ulster a curious look when he made his comment about being a fine, lonely, boring man. "....I don't think it makes you boring if you don't want to go to a brothel," she said softly. She wanted to comment on the lonely part, but she wasn't exactly sure what to say there. Instead, she just left it at that as she turned to Jerrard.

"Quite a bit actually as I am a Mikku," Imani says. "What would you like to know?"

Thuskar, having finished cleaning up, is the last to join them, and he also orders the same breakfast.

"Ahh, then this question is awkward, are your people ummm, trustworthy, as a rule?" He blushes at the question, giving Thuskar a little wave as the man appears. "I was curious, thats all." He blushes again, hating the lie.

"Trustworthy?" Imani asks with a raised eyebrow. "The Mikku are not looked upon favorably," she explains. "Most believe us to be thieves and very untrustworthy. Though, the Mikku only do what they have to, to survive in a harsh land. That sometimes means giving young women to those in power so that their clan remains protected. Though, I sort of liked the free way that we live. The men are still in control, but they aren't as forceful. We would spend many of our nights just celebrating without reason with music and dancing."

"So you know how to make music and dance?" Babushka asks Imani. That must be nice. I always like to listen and watch, but have never tried it myself. It's more of an indoor thing, and I've been mostly an outdoor person."
