You get a +1 to hit anything smaller than your mount (and that applies to goblins, naturally). There are also special rules for using a lance or projectile weapon while mounted, but Erastin doesn't have either of those, so I won't go into them.

Also, your movement rate is increased considerably while on horseback, although that may go without saying.

Yeah, nobody took damage. But the goblins were hampered by the sunlight, and needed a 17+ to hit Karathos and a natural 20 to hit Targin.

it was a great feeling to have a character that can just charge into battle... quite different from my Babushka who, although a 5th level ranger, only has 19 HP! And Karathos would excuse his rash action with the lack of exercise he had the last few days...

Yea, I guess that's my point. Why over think it with goblins. A different monster might get played a bit differently.

True, but keep in mind that this group has no healer at all.

So any damage you guys take, it will have to heal naturally. And it can build up over time.

Umm...actually, there are kender in Taladas. Any race found in Ansalon can be found there, too. There's even a type of draconian found there.

Ah, well. Guess we can say Karathos is just extremely sheltered.

Shows once again I'm not familiar with Dragonlance... but I've found a way around it: he knows them by another name.

FYI, AFK for the weekend, back on Sunday, NPC Targin as needed to keep it moving.

Some things to note:

Does Targin tell the others about the chest he found?
Is Galenye okay with leaving her Rope of Climbing behind?
Has the party reached some kind of decision on what to do with the prisoners?
