I saw that photo on a random picture blog, and my first thought was to make a poster out of it for rpg.net, something about having High STR without using CHA as a dump stat. But the more I looked at it, the more I came to realize that she looked familiar...

It is rather familiar!!

Silly question, but could we have a quick sketch of the Roadhouse? I know its not important to the story, but it would help me get my bearings?

Two food/beverage related comments:

First, I've been waiting for someone to pick on me about having what is essentially a fast-food/take-out/counter-service restaurant with a flat-top grille in a setting that is supposed to resemble ancient Rome.
In fact, there were take-out lunch counters with flat-top grills in Rome. Large multi-story tenement apartment buildings were commonplace in the city, and most were constructed of wood. The Romans had no concept of fire exits, and lacked the means to effectively fight fires, so these buildings were fire traps. In an effort to prevent dangerous fires, it was common for these buildings to be constructed without cooking facilities. Unable to cook their meals at home, Roman apartment dwellers relied on take-out restaurants to provide prepared meals. One common meal that could be purchased at a Roman lunch counter: a flattened lump of shredded meat, cooked on a flat grill, spiced with onions, and served inside a slice-open loaf of bread. Yes, the Romans invented the hamburger.

Second, and Bastian's ordering mead brought this to mind: if you have never tried mead, I highly recommend that you do (provided of course that you can get your hands on the good stuff - actual mead, as opposed to the fake stuff which is just wine with honey added).
I have friends who make some very good mead, and I'd rather drink that than any other alcoholic beverage. Good mead is light and refreshing, particularly if served chilled, can be sweet or dry, and lacks the sour aftertaste that wine has.
I won't go so far as to place something like an advertisement here, but I do happen to know of a pretty good commercial meadery which ships nationwide. PM me if you are interested in more info.

Distant in the purely physical sense.
But now you all know why Elias the ranger rode so far ahead of the party during the morning's trip. Tempest needed time to get here.

Hey, has anyone heard anything from Bryant? He's been kind of M.I.A.

Thats what I meant Stik.

As for Bryant... nothing at all.
I'd message him on Facebook.... but He'd only be mean to me again... (like I care)

Is it worth just carrying on without him? I think the three party members can carry on regardless... I could find more players if you wish, but you have some in the wings, don't you?

Okay, Bryant dropped out of LWW's game on 8/24, and his last post here was on that same day. I am going to PM him. If anyone has any other way of contacting him, please send him a message on my behalf asking him to check in. If we do not hear from him soon, like by the weekend, I'll let invite someone from the waiting list to join the game.
