Searos holds his nose as he looks into the room.
"Doesn't look like there is anything of interest in here..."

The smell hits them straight away, the Mattress looks like it has been attacked by some sort of animal.
"Indeed, it looks rather empty."

Searos continues to hold the hem of his cloak over his nose and mouth as he peers into the room.
"Do you think its even worth checking to see if there is anything of value in there or should we just move on to door #2?"
He seems to be strongly considering at least poking at stuff with his sword to see if there is.

As far as he can tell the only item that could even contain anything of value is the smashed chest.

Searos looks around the room to see if there's anything that looks potential painful and then gingerly walks into the room, broadsword held before him to go and poke at the chest to see if there is anything in there.
"Oh gods, please let this be treasure and not something thats going to bite me in half..."

Picking at the chest with the blade of his sword, Searos finds lots of old rotten Childrens clothes, wrapped in the bottom are a pile of old faded sheets.
With further investigation this room appears empty.

"Just a bunch of old rotten children's clothes. Because thats not creepy. No, not in the slightest. Ghost child walking around and now I find what must be her bedroom... surely thats not terrifying in a bowels-liquifying kind of way..."
Searos backs away from the pile slowly until he reaches the door, muttering all the way.

"Anything of interest?" Brax asks, the twinkle in her eyes is more evident in the fading light, glowing like little burning fires.
(Ooc: Are those downstairs just waiting or are you planning on doing anything?)
Downstairs the sun is visibly lower in the sky, the light streaming through the broken windows. You can't help be thankful today is a nice day... In a Storm the place would unbearable.

Vee, also holding her nose looks into the room but she don't like to enter.
"If this is the bedroom of the ghost child, I guess she hasn't a nose any more. Uahh... my old Masters socks smelled better!"
Vee says damped because of her fingers.
"let's go to the next door."

Searos stops suddenly in his tracks at Brax's eyes.
"Uhh... no, Bright Eyes. Nothing of interest other than children's clothes. I think this was a little girl's room or something. Lets move on before the former occupant decides to come back to change into something more 'going haunting.'"
He moves through the door trying to maintain as much distance from Brax as possible and moving down the hallway.

As Vee opens the door she finds a large room which has apparently been used for storage. A large oak chest stands under the window, its lid closed. Elsewhere in the room are three wooden chairs, all broken, two splintered wooden buckets and a sack.
Just inside the door is a bundle of what looks like clothing; this bundle carries no dust and appears to have been put here recently.
If Brax notices Searos's Behavior she does not let it show.

"Well Echo, if you believe the smuggler's nest is down here, where would you start looking?" Kim asks.

Echo looks around thoughtfully. "The basement where we fought those skeletons," she says. "That place looked new compared to the rest of the house."

Kim thinks for a moment.
"You are right" comes the concession.
Kim goes back to the basement, checking the walls carefully for secret or concealed doors.

Attention is also spent on checking for magic emanating from somewhere.

Despite the intense search Kim finds no evidence or signs of doors or other accesses.
