Vee follows Searos out of the room. "good idea. Maybe the smugglers have something hidden in the next room?"

The broken staircase is just as they left it, Brax pauses her action, waiting instead to see what the Group chooses to do.

"If it is smugglers, then I doubt that they can do anything up here," Echo says as she exits the room. "There is probably a room down below that we might have missed," she suggests.

"True enough" Kim answers Echo. "But I still want to see what's up here, before we decide if we spend the night in here or go back to the village.

With that, Kim takes a few steps and then jumps to cover the gap.

Kim's trying to jump she flies in the air, the second the mage is in the air its obvious to all the jump was woefully inadequate, hands grasping for the broken and splintered timbers Kim falls badly to the ground on one knee, a loud Thump is clearly audible.

1d6=1

Amazingly Kim manages to avoid any serious injury, the only wounds being cuts and bruises.

(That WAS lucky!!!)

Brax shakes her head, steps back a few feet, and jumps into the air gracefully, she lands simply on both feet.

1d20=2 Pass

"Coming?" She asks the rest of the group with a grin.

Gunter looks at the gap, shaking his head.

"I'm sure I could cover the distance, but not as sure that the floor would hold me once I land."

He asks Brax, who's already on the other side, "Think it's sturdy enough?"

A little dazed, Kim stands up and checks if the body is still OK. Apparently it is, mostly, so what follows is a slow climb up the stairs again, head shaking and mumbling, probably a few swear words.

Amon has always been something of a klutz. He can barely dress himself without falling over something. That's why he hired that servant to dress him instead. Shaking his head, he announces, "I'll wait here with Dogmeat. I would only break my neck trying to make that jump."

Echo stares at the rest of the group as if they had suddenly just lost their minds, especially after seeing Kim fall the way she did. "No, I think I'm going to wait here too," she says.
