"Let's press on," suggests Jerry and puts her sling away.

Yeah, this place gives me the creeps... but which way? Down the ladder Mira found into the mists or should we try to reach this lower bridge? Elsa asks

"The ladder kind of gives me the creeps, it's bones and it just goes down. There really isn't a way to see what's down there.. if we had a rope we could tie it to the bone, loop it round and then get down to the bridge below."

"I'm not perfect with knots.. but it seems safer to me. More known."

Adran offers up his rope for the Kender's utilization.

Lol, i had to go back and look. Pyros' rope is near the entrance and Pytor's rope let them down the oiled chute from the false crown.

"Go ahead Pyros, I'll climb down when you are done." Mira waits invisibly , making funny faces behind the Knight that no one else can see.

Karl keeps his mace at the ready, in case anything else might attack.

[Lets assume he already has, which way would Mira like to go?]

She'd like to try and get to 13...

Once the rope is secured it dangles down beside the other bridge and on deep into the mists below. The line dances, then pulls taut near the top as the invisible Mira carefully lets herself down to the lower bridge. Making her way down one path cautiously she finds that the wide passage curves around to the left, but apparently comes to a natural dead-ends after a few yards...

"Well this isn't fun at all, why couldn't I be an Elf?" She stares at the rock face wishing it were an illusion. . "I can honestly say I don't want to be in this place anymore!" That decided she heads over the bridge walking ever so slowly towards the other side.

Mira feels along the edge but finds no hidden secrets. crossing the opposite side she finds yet another passage. there are many forks and splits but most dead end in a very short distance. Eventually she comes to a small opening on the ground into which mist flows like water. The crawlspace appears big enough for a human sized creature, and has the scent of machine oil to it like the slick passage down from the chamber of the False Crown...

"Well, hmmm. I bet that ladder goes the same way, can't see either.. and the oil." She shines her torch down the hole, looking for an end.

Are there any loose stones around she can send down the chute? Something with some size?

Karl stands waiting, giving the Kender a look he motions to the others.

Mira takes a moment to light a torch an shine her light down into the opening. It appears to go on beyond the reach of the torchlight (15 ft rad). She finds a shoulder sized stone down and hears it clatter for many feet past the range of the light; but does detect it skitter to a halt some distance beyond in the darkness. (more than 30, less than 100)
