My memory is full of work stuff, and family stuff, so I don't really know what we can use, unless I go searching back through threads to come up with what Sue would have told Woody.

I'm not sure what Woody should give or answer as "what proof do we have that Taffis is being followed". I think Woody has a ring from Sue that was Taffis. I don't know if that is proof that Woody can be trusted.

What else do we know about this hold situation? I'm with Nocturno, I can't remember anything about this whole situation.

Chris as game master are you able to give us a recap of what has transpired in this adventure? I think we have been at this for almost 3 years. I can't remember information that far back.

Recap:
Taffis, deceased, was to give evidence to the Lords Alliance about unusual cooperation between gangs. Your investigations revealed:

Waterdeep’s street gangs, normally antagonistic to each other, have been working together. The City’s authorities suspect that it is orchestrated. Taffis Bornam, a senior member of the Six Hands gang, was to provide details in return for immunity. He was killed before he could testify. Your investigations have established:
• Taffis was killed by an expert assassin to silence him. The authorities have a security leak.
• Taffis had received instruction from his boss, the mysterious “Yellow Canary”, either by message drop at the very upmarket Hanging Lantern festhall (account #191) or in person at an exclusive party at the Purple Palace.
• Neither the “Yellow Canary” nor the canary’s boss (“He”) seemed to know that Taffis had been killed.
• Taffis was apparently in direct contact with the Six Hands’ smuggling team leader.
• It seems Taffis had been facilitating smuggling beneath Waterdeep between the Six Hands and the Minoataurs gangs, which is the focus of the investigation.

Other discoveries that are not (yet) linked to the above are:
• The fat merchant, “H”, was recruiting orcs and bugbears in Undermountain for moving, selling or protecting merchandise.
• Another group of orcs in Undermountain regarded any orcs that worked for “H” as traitors.
• In Undermountain someone poisoned large barrels of quality wine and mead that belonged to “H”.
• There is an abandoned dwarven secret resting place in the sewers which had been infested by spiders and a phantom before the party cleared it out.

For the group in the sewer lair, I'm torn between preseving player agency but at the potential cost of the story dragging (and not being particularly dramatic)..

Do the think you folks would prefer to do a "room by room" approach, or do a skip/forwards summary?
