"A bucket on his head?" Erika looks at Eloise with interest. "How did that happen?"

"Oh that was fun! I got the bucket from the well, jumped up behind him and shoved the bucket on his head! He didnt know what to do." She giggles Loudly.

Erika looks at Eloise with awe. "So a girl does have the possibility to defend herself. You must teach me that. And also how to climb walls like you do".

"You know, I think I will. No one should be taken by force like you were..." Looking over to Christopher she tilts her head. "You want to stay here don't you? You stay here and guard them, I will go to the get help with Erica." She pauses, waiting on a disagreement. "Dale can join us if you are worried."

"No, I do not want to stay here.I want to see the young woman safely home. We can tie the four men in a coffle. The two healthy young one we can bind to the shafts of a litter for the wounded one. If we bag their heads and bind their hands, they should be no trouble.

"I shall have to find a way of ensuring their compliance, though.
"Let us go visit our prisoners? Erica, if you choose to stand back I will not fault you, but I would like for you to identify them men who imprisoned you."

Erika looks up at Christopher with a fierce gleam in her eye. "Of course I will come with you! I want them punished!"

When they arrive back in the basement of the guard house where they left the prisoners, they are greeted with a plea: "Give us some water, have mercy, for God's sake!" one of the younger men says, almost as soon as the trapdoor is opened.

"Relax. You've only been in there a short time. Were you to cry and beg for mercy after a few days in there, I would be be moved."
Christopher gestures to Erika, waves her forward. "Are these the men who imprisoned you, and injured Volcker?"

"Have you tied them up?" Erika asks cautiously before she begins to go down.

"Oh yes." Eloise responds, holding her dagger out in plain sight, trying to hide the slight trembling. "I won't leave you alone."

"Fear not. These men know what fate awaits them if they should challenge us."

With a thankful look at Eloise, Erika wlaks down the ladder. she looks at each of the men in turn, not saysing a word. Then she comes back up again, lookng rather pale.
"Yes, it is them who captured me and kept me here, forcing me to brew for them. The one who is injured was the one who maimed Volcker. i hope he will stay crippled, too."

The young thief goes down alongside Erica and walks back up when she does. "Then they should be punished."

Dale leans over and whispers to Thelma. He turns back to the group and suggests. "They will be punished. We are not in the wilds." Pausing, adds in a low voice. "Justice in the wilds tends to be a bit rougher. I would likely leave them for the animals after applying the same treatment to them. Nature has its own cures for cruelty."

"We can't go outside the law," Thelma says gently as she moves near Eloise.

"Me break the law?" She asks incredulously, pointing to her chest in mock surprise. "Never."
