He seems pretty interested in the details, but Pyros cannot differentiate his motive at this time

"Yes, we uh saw it." Still unable to read the big man's intentions.
"We were curious to see where that dark drink comes from. Especially after this reaction to us not liking it."
Everyone's warnings echoing in his ears, to not tell anyone but it sure seems like they need an ally.
"We saw it because we put it there. He tried to do something with his music, by Mira held back his magic. I was nearly torn in half, but we managed to put the beast down." He takes a huge draw from this drink.

Haldrake shakes his head. Idiot... he was always too smart for his own good. I had a suspicion about him... Wish I could have seen that. The big man sighs. I suppose I need to find a new bartender now. So you say the Red Gypsy can counter the 'song' of these creatures hmm? Hmm... well that is something... Ah, but you are ok now? Your friends must have powerful healing to put you back together, eh?

"I guess you just like the stories. I was hoping you were an undercover ally to help sort these monsters out!" Pyros sighs. "Imagine working with him and not knowing what you're working beside." He shudders a bit.
Finishes his drink.
"Is that story worth another? I could elaborate on our heroism if it means another drink!" He elbows Gregor.

Oh we certainly have similar interests... He chuckles, sliding them another round. I had a tool for dealing with things like this, but it went missing. I suppose it's possible he found out and removed it. I don't suppose you found a knife with him?

Oh it was about so big... he holds his large hands apart to indicate the size of the dagger. It had a bit of a curve to it and the blade was made of silver. He adds the last quietly, with emphasis on the final word

Pyros knowing the large folk seem to really care about these type of things, will take the opportunity to give the dagger back.

"Indeed!" Possibly louder than he should have.
Happy that he claimed the dagger. Maybe he actually is an ally in disguise.
He will discreetly pull the dagger out and hand it to him.
(He kept it right?)

"Have you heard any stories of Vampires lately? Jerry's Father seems to be hunting young women that look like her."

Haldrake nods in thanks and tucks the dagger behind his belt, before taking up a metal mug and wiping it down to cover the motion. At Pyros' next words his casual facade falls way to a stern mask of barely held anger. Vampire... you mean that serial killer is...? A creak of metal sounds nearby as the cup in the burly bartender's hand crumples from his grip. The muscles and sinews of his arm stand out like cords from the tension. Where? The word came out as a deathly silent demand more than a question.

Uh what? lol. Does it seem odd to Pyros that he just crushed a metal cup?
================================================================
Not one to heed a warning.

"Yeah, these poor girls look just like Jerry from our group of adventurers. She's an undead hunting Cleric, and her Father is a Vampire. So we have figured he followed us through the mists."
Another swig of this drink.
"This land is strange."

[Haldrake is built like a weightlifter, so it certainly seems possible. The cup itself is some kind of metal that has been silvered. It's hard to say what the base metal is]

Jerry? Which one is she? I don't remember her coming in here. So the thing is here because of your friends? He says with quiet menace. Gregor begins tapping Pyros with his foot behind the counter for some reason.

Where is it? Where is this thing hiding during the day?

"Eh? He looks at Gregor."
He nods.
"Oh right she hasn't been here, with us. The blonde one attached to the Merrick the Elf."
He drinks again, loving the attention, and the curiosity.
"Where is it? Who knows. We have just started our investigation. You seem to be fairly interested in this one, maybe you can join us in the hunt
!"

"That I don't know. Just that it looks like 'Jerry's Dad'. She is at the guard post now giving a report."
Encouraged by all the attention and seemingly captive audience. Pyros has a huge grin.

"Do you have any lard I could use for my new invention?"

You should bring them here. My friends and I will find this... thing He says, quietly.

Lard? No, but the kitchen will. Tell old Beeter I said to let you have some. But get your friend Jerry here, right away.
