After several minutes, Binky returns. Seems clear, meatbags. he says as he slides by like a shadow, perching on Allikhain's shoulder before going invisible.

As commanded Rror shoulders past the group, the grizzly bear zombie trundling unconcernedly forward. The stench of rot and putrid flesh overpowering the air arround them. A section of facial hide torn away to reveal part of the skull with one glowing red eye of undeath while the other milky white and posessed of squirming maggots.

The massive creature plods along the chain-bridge, which sways and bounces un steadily as the heedless beast moves forward. Ke'sha follows after 20 feet, having to hold tightly onto the chain rails to keep from being forced to crawl. The skeleton tries to follow but is immediately thrown down prone on the bridge. It tries to stand again but shortly is on the same predicament.

Axid passes the hapless undead as the others file onto the btidge as well.

Jag will think to himself as the passes the skeleton. "Poor Fellow, whoever you once were."

Order looks fine to me.

Ke'Sha rolls his eyes in agony and orders Rror to move more carefully. "Pity your brain rot together with your flesh!" he says loudly to the monstrous zombie, used to his true companions mindless apathy when it comes to his curses and stings.

(OOC: Gur is flying even farther forward at 50')

[Ke'Sha can sense that Gur is still off checking the canyon below (it was much farther), but through the bond Ke'Sha can tell he seems to be on his way back now]

Rror slows his gait, plodding along in a more casual manner. Finally the poor skeleton is able to keep his footing and the others no longer need to hold to the chain railings to keep their footing. Impressively, even with the weight of the undead bear, ogre and the rest of the party the chain bridge seems to have no trouble holding them.

On into the darkness they continue, finding that the bridge ends some 400 feet at a landing attached to another monumental stalactite. From there a chain ladder drops down into the gaping maw of darkness...

Ke'Sha wonders if the people upstairs will ever build such bridges for their own use.
When they get to the ladder he asks Gur to scout again it's safety.
"Anyone here want to check the chain?" he asks the others.

Jag looks down the ladder.

"They certainly are trying to weed out the weak willed individuals. I'm glad we have some test subjects here before we have to climb down that."

Ke'Sha looks at Jag, his eyes empty of any emotion as he considers the benefit of turning him into a lich. Tempting... But eventually he asks, "Any divination magic that can reduce the risks?"

Smirking to herself, Allikhain speaks. Binky... be a dear and check it out.

The Quasit snorts violently, sucking mucus to form a large glob which he spits over the side of the bridge.
Hey, you F5C#er! Watch it! Gur yells as he becomes visible; narrowly avoiding the 'missile'.

My bad. Didn't see you there. Binky chuckles. Ok, foolish mortals, let's see.... yeah... chains are magic but it's like some kind of alteration thing. Probably to make them stronger or something. Long way down.

Yeah. Reeeal long way. Buncha shrooms and giant snails and $#it down there in the cavern, but the chain goes to the top of this mountain-looking thing.

"I don't think I will bother Lathander about a ladder." He starts to remember why the Dawn Lord frowned upon raising the dead. He shivers under the cool glare of the Necro.

The thin ribbon of yellow light from a lantern moves steadily toward the near side of the chain-link bridge…

(Having missed the departure, Jack will set off cautiously in pursuit of those other bold souls who search for Sorril’s salvation.)

OOC Jack looks more like a link boy or hireling than a hero. Dressed in the serviceable dark brown clothing of a tradesman, his face obscured by a deep hood, only the plain leather scabbard of sword and dagger give any indication otherwise.
Of medium height and build there is little to distinguish him other than the hint of bright, friendly eyes far within the shadowy cowl.

[1d20]=9 (Activate:WIS -3)
Axid reaches for the chain and then levitates down.
(O0C: 12 PSP to activate then 2/round to the bottom. He can drop as fast as he wants then slowing himself near the end, which he does then steps off to the side to get out of the way of the others.)

Ke'Sha raises a brow at Jag comment, looks at Allikhain and back at Jag, "So why won't you just go first with Lathander blessin.." he is interrupted by Axid levitation but after a moment continues, "Err, go second with Lathander blessing." And he waits for Jag either to answer or move.

"Who is this now?" He will look back at the new comer. He will ready his Qstaff.

The figure waves with his free hand then raises the lantern high. Both gestures designed to show he holds no weapons.
After waiting a few moments (secretly hoping not to be incinerated, blown up or filled with arrows) he slowly moves forward and crosses the bridge towards the party. “Hello. I’m Jack Blackthorn. Can I help at all?”
