An interesting idea. But damn, I wish mgbevan was here. I'm not sure if Gregeddin would go along with it. He took this job to get a free spell from Magnus, and if they get the mage to bail them out, he likely won't get it.

Hey, as far as Gregeddin knowa, I am a spy for the temple, if one with his own agenda... There wasn't anything to make him believe otherwise.

Um, Jaded, where exactly can I actually get money here :/
Also, I need to know where to get rations...

You can buy food at the inn or any tavern or head to the marketplace.
As for how to earn money, I guess the same way you would in reality--with a job. What sort of job is really up to you. Felran has weaponsmithing, although he's not very good at it. But he could try heading to the trade guild and applying for an apprenticeship with another smith. However, weapons are illegal for anyone but the army, meaning you would be making weapons for the army...not sure if he'd worry about that or not.
You could also try getting a job with the army as a soldier or a mercenary, but there are obvious problems with that, too (aside from probably being required to do some awful things, there is always the risk the army will figure out who he is).
There are no easy answers, but that's the point of this game. Living under the army's rule isn't easy.

Haahque btw, love the wraparound steal(/steel) for money bit, and shaking the Histachii's hand part. I'm playing a kender in Ravenloft elsewhere, and that is just his style. Maybe Grubnick should turn his frustrations on the elf that led them here and not the gnome... (that exacerbated the condition...)

Phase 3 not going too well. My suggestion: do what the gnome did.
Usually that's a very stupid idea, but in this case it might be worth considering.

You mean 'better part of valor'?
I'm hoping to end this quickly with a little bonfire.
Unfortunately, my ac is good enough and they're all damaged enough that I actually think I stand a chance to survive this... That's the problem with positive thinking: you don't know till it's over if you're right or not
Planning on using some tumble checks up the stairs to get the hell outta dodge soon... AC -2 anyone

As long as jaded doesn't crit like three times...

There was nothing for me to respond to, chese. Felran sat down and asked Ne-Chanz a question. What was there for me to do?
